I sat there looking, just looking... at the Beauty of it all ba-ock! Shhhh! You’ll wake papa. The chicken looked at me and cocked its head then ruffled it feathers and layers back down. You may wonder how I got up here well I guess you could say it was magic but it was just the chimney. It was 3 bricks thick so over the summer when I had a chance, I would try to pull a brick out and make it like a ladder and it paid off. And Here I was on the roof looking at the sunrise. The ground looked like a sea of mist and fog at least a foot tall from the ground up. The land was quite and this was Concord. I lived in the livestock and harvest area of the town. My ear flopped in the wisp of the wind that passed it was calm but cold, and soon pa would be up and I had to get back. I took the chicken and tied a piece of string around her beak. Brrrrrrrrk! She tried to scream as she fluttered to the earth from the roof as I tossed her into the air. And now it was time for the hard part getting back down myself without breaking the chimney.
