Erin was enjoying her time at the arcade. She had managed to find a retro-style arcade with all the classics from Pac-Man to Asteroids to Rampage. There was a bit of everything at the arcade, and Erin was trying to get the most of everything there! She knew she could spend all day there if she wanted to, and that was what she was intending to do! It was just too much fun! While the majority of the games were more "traditional" video games, there were still a few prize games scattered about in the way of claw games. They weren't something that Erin often played, but with Pokemon plushies as prizes, she knew she had to try and get one! Erin started to try her luck at the claw machine, putting her coins in as she tried to get any one of the Pokemon plushies. They looked so soft! And high quality too, much more than she was expecting, which just made her want them even more. The crane wasn't cooperating with her, however, and any time it wrapped the claw around one of the Pokemon it'd fall out before it ever made it to the prize deposit. "Dang it." Erin muttered to herself as she used the last quarter from her reserve. "That one was so close too!" "Wasn't it?" she heard a man's voice say from behind her. "That's why I hate these things. Just exist to eat your coins." Erin turned to the source, seeing it coming from an orange-furred fox man in jeans and a flannel. "Yeah, I know. The prizes tempted me too much. I've learned my lesson to not try again. If I want one, I can just buy one. Will probably be cheaper in the grand scheme of things." Erin said with a small chuckle. "Well let's not get too ahead of ourselves now!" the fox laughed. "Why pay for it when we can get it right now for free?" "Do you have a key or something?" Erin was curious. "Nothing like that, no." the fox shook his head. "We're going to do some cheating! The game cheats us, so we cheat the game." "Don't know what that means, but let's do it!" Erin laughed. "I'm Erin, by the way." "Skyler." the fox introduced himself. "So to get in, we need some long arms, and looking at the two of us, we don't have that." "Okay..." Erin said slowly, assuming there would be more to that. "So then what do we do?" "We get longer arms! Well, not arms per se. Just get longer bodies. And by we, I mean you." Skyler said. "That...okay, you lost me. I don't get it." Erin sighed. "You will, don't worry!" Skyler said with glowing blue eyes and a snap of his fingers. "You'll be a long noodle soon and that'll help you slither in and get our toys!" Erin was confused by the fox, and only more confused when she felt a shiver travel down her spine and the same blue glow that Skyler had around his eyes form around her own body, causing it to rapidly transform as Skyler's magic took hold. Erin's face was becoming covered in grassy fur, with a lime green coloration on the upper half of her head and the entire back of it while the underside formed white fur instead. Her face elongated, nose going into a point as the nostrils became tiny dots at the end of her new snout. Erin's eyes became a bit flatter and wider, all while the green color of them turned a piercing red. The overall shape of Erin's head altered, becoming a bit more like a teardrop. Erin's hair became condensed into the fur, receding until it rested underneath it. Similarly, her ears shrank until they became buried underneath the green fur, though was still fully capable of hearing. Growing out from the back of Erin's neck would be two leaf-like appendages with lime green exteriors and yellow interiors. At her neck, the same kind of appendage formed, making Erin's head look like it was in some kind of peel. The length of Erin's neck grew longer, with the white grassy fur forming down the front and down her back and sides. As for the rest of Erin's form, it became encased, the clothing starting to become a part of Erin's body itself. Erin's arms went to her sides as they pushed themselves into it, not stopping until Erin had no arms to speak of. The curves of her body were flattening, with her chest now acting as a natural curve between the upper and lower parts of her body and where the "peel" opened up. Lower down Erin's body, her legs didn't leave her, but they did merge together to leave only one. Her feet connected to each other at the heels before rapidly shrinking into a dulled tip. The lower segments of Erin's legs were very thin, with it getting progressively wider the higher up her body was. However, Erin's body itself was notably thinner overall, about half the width she was before the transformation began. The "casing" of Erin's body primarily consisted of various greens. The underside of Erin's body had a lime green coloration, while the backside was more leafy green. Halfway down her body, streaks of yellow formed, along with leaves sticking out from where her arms used to be, and close to the tip of her new tail that was once her legs. Erin wasn't a human anymore but a snake, a Serperior Pokemon to be precise! "There! Now you can get in!" Skyler said proudly, kneeling down and smiling at the new Serperior. "Wh-what happened!? Why am I a Pokemon!? Where are my arms?" is what Erin tried to say, but all that came out was "Ser? Serperior! Serperior!" "Don't bother trying to speak English, it won't work!" Skyler laughed. "But now you can slither up there and knock all the prizes down! And if you don't, well, I can just leave you transformed! Your call!" "Serperior!" Erin responded. She liked Pokemon but she didn't want to be stuck as one, especially one without arms! It seemed as though the only way out was working with Skyler. "Good, now that we're on the same page let's get to work!" Skyler said, gently lifting up Erin - something that felt incredibly weird, and was put into the prize door, with Skyler helping Erin to lift her head over the glass. It took some effort, but Erin was able to get her body slither up and over the glass fully, landing in the middle of a ton of the stuffed animals. Having to work without any proper limbs was a struggle, but she managed to. At least it wouldn't be forever she'd have to move around like this! Just until Skyler undid the transformation. "Alright, now start tossing them down the chute! Use your head, literally!" Skyler couldn't help but laugh, though Erin was much less amused by the whole ordeal. The new Serperior slithered around, catching various plushies under her snout and sliding them up over the glass where they plopped down, much to Skyler's delight as he was taking them out and putting them into a pile on the side. Erin had gotten a good ten plushies down, and decided that would be enough. She went over to the glass and looked at Skyler, who eventually noticed that Erin had stopped dropping the prizes down. "What's the matter? Getting tired? I know you're not because that spell was supposed to give you a ton of energy! Let's get plushie heisting!" However, Erin indignantly shook her head. She'd cross her arms too, if she actually had arms to cross! She was fed up with this and just wanted to return to normal. She got the Pokemon plushies she wanted down there, and Skyler got a bunch too! No need to keep going! "Is that so? Guess we're done here then." Skyler said with a shrug before a devilish grin grew across his muzzle. "Then I guess that means I'm done with you! Thank you for the help!" Erin was getting extra concerned now. Did Skyler just play her? He was just talking weird, surely she'd be getting out of the claw machine and turning back to normal to reap the reward! "You just look so cozy in there, surrounded by stuffed animals." Skyler said, his eyes glowing blue again. "But, people might get scared of a real snake in a machine, better we cover our tracks there, eh?" he said, delivering another snap of his fingers as Erin's body transformed yet again. This time, her species wouldn't alter at all, but it was getting much harder to move. This was because Erin's muscles were starting to leave her, along with bone and everything else on the inside of her body. Instead, it was quickly being replaced with nothing but cotton fluff. The grassy fur of her body was turning into thin, soft fabric as it turned faux. Erin's breathing came to a stop as the need to do so left her, after all, inanimate objects didn't do that! The size of Erin's eyes became a bit smaller, all while hardening and turning into simple marbles. Erin's head flopped to the ground as she fully gave way, no longer just a Serperior but a plushie version of one! Mentally, Erin's mind was changing too. She didn't necessarily forget about her old body, but her thoughts were much more simplified, basic. All she wanted to do was serve her purpose - a reward for whoever got her out of the claw machine to hug and cuddle with. It would give her warmth, being used as she was meant to be used. No more human woman, just a simple Serperior plushie was all that was left of Erin, not even thinking of herself as Erin anymore, not that she could have much thoughts anymore, but now, to her, she was simply Serperior. "There. Now no one will freak out when they see you in there!" Skyler smirked, putting a hand on the glass of the claw machine and looking inside. "You're in good company! Who knows, maybe some of your new friends in there used to be like you! I turned a lot of people into a lot of things, eventually some of them might wind up together. It's not the first time I've done something like this! I had this wolf friend I turned into a carnival prize after I beat him, hilarious!" Skyler laughed. "Look at me, talking like you can hear me!" Skyler took the hand off the machine and took a step back. Even if we didn't have that glass between us, you don't even have ears! Either way, I'm sure someone will eventually give you a good home, whenever that might be. Could be today, could be tomorrow, could maybe even be months from now!" Skyler laughed. "What I do know is that's none of my concern now." he said, gathering up all the Pokemon plushies that Erin had put down the prize chute. "Thanks for the help! I'd say I won't forget you but, eh, I'd be lying. I transform too many people to keep track!" he chuckled as he left the arcade, leaving Erin to her new fate. Hours turned to days, days turned to weeks, and so on. Erin stayed within the claw machine, buried amongst a ton of other Pokemon plushies. There would be some people who tried to win her, but they usually didn't get far, and the crane got progressively weaker over time to make it even harder to win with. Eventually, Erin might be won and taken home, or perhaps given away to someone who won it for someone else. But until that day came, all she could do was lie there with her fellow Pokemon. Regardless, she was content, happy to be a simple plush, eager for the day someone got to win her. But until then, she was but a prize to be earned!
