Grimm let out a yawn, resting on his haunches inside of his hoard. He had a massive collection, many of which could put many other dragons to shame. Still, he was always hungry to fill it more. A good hoard never stopped growing, and while he liked his treasures he felt an urge to go find more. He had already recently obtained offerings from a village and finished taking the offerings back, but perhaps they hadn't fully finished giving him treasures in exchange for not destroying their town. The dragon got up, resolution settling in to see if there were any more treasures and if not, find a way to get some more. He felt like growing the hoard today. There was only so much a dragon could do, after all. With that, Grimm left his cave, taking flight as he flew towards the village. When making landfall just at the outskirts where tributes were left, he was greeted not to any treasures, but a dragoness dressed in flowing purple robes, arms crossed and watching as if she was expecting Grimm to come. "Do you bring me tribute?" Grimm asked, craning his neck up and towering over the dragoness. "If not prepare to face the ultimate punishment." "Oh my gosh, you actually came! I had no idea if my trail spell was gonna work but it did and here you are!" the dragoness exclaimed, tail wagging behind her in excitement. "You have mere moments to explain yourself, I have no need for your antics." Grimm squinted his eyes. "Okay, so I'm a big fan, I just love big scary dragons like you!" the witch said. "I'm Katila! I'm a witch! And I wanted to see you face to face so I used a spell that would give you a want to come here, and here you are! I didn't know dragons of your stature were susceptible to magic." "Your magic had nothing to do with it witch." Grimm responded coldly. A part of him wasn't sure how true that was, but surely a lowly dragoness witch couldn't have the power to summon someone has strong-willed and mighty as him! "I came to find tribute to fill out my hoard." "Yes! Of course! I offer tribute! Something I think you're really going to like!" Katila said, pulling out a ruby out from her robes and placing it in between Grimm and herself. "Is that all? A small ruby? Do you expect that to be enough tribute for a dragon of my stature? Are you trying to offend me?" Grimm scoffed. "Trust me, it's worth it! Take a closer look!" Katila insisted. "Give it a sniff, give it a poke and you'll see!" "Very well. But I am not interested in any antics. If this proves to be anything but tribute you won't see the sun set today or any other day." Grimm warned as he approached the ruby, leaning over to examine it. The excited dragoness' demeanor seemed to change, taking on a more sinister one. "And I can say the same to you!" she said, clapping her hands together as the ruby exploded in a giant blast of light. Grimm recoiled, but he was blinded and unable to make any counteract to Katila. He readied himself to breathe flame, only for nothing to come out. He was confused, and that confused allowed something else to enter his head - making it harder to think straight. He tried to fend it off, but the daze was too strong, erasing the dragon's mind and leaving him a blank slate, one that would be filled out once the transformation to his physical form concluded. Grimm's large, towering form was rapidly shrinking, mass slipping away as the massive dragon was now much more level with Katila herself. As his body shrank, he forcefully rose up onto his hind legs, which just became his legs as his quadrupedal stance shifted into a bipedal one. With his new statue and size, Grimm wasn't a feral dragon anymore, but an anthropomorphic one. That wouldn't stay true for long as more of his body altered. The digits of his feet were becoming less jagged as they enlarged, pressing together until they became one. The tips of them rounded out into circular shapes, the claws becoming even more dulled at the tip of them while webbing formed between the digits as they morphed into paws. Grimm's impressive tail was losing that trait, shrinking until it now only reached a bit past the back of his knees. The width became more even all throughout, becoming fluffy as brown fur formed on the top and beige on the bottom. Fur grew up Grimm's body as the scales shifted into skin. The coloration of the scales were a darker brown color, though at his inner thighs beige fur found itself growing. As the fur grew, underneath it, his figure was altering. Mass grew at the thighs and calves, with the in between sucking inward, giving his legs a curvy, hourglass shape. His hips widened, growing into childbearing proportions as his rear increased in size as well, becoming more pert and pronounced to give his lower body a notably feminine figure below the belt. Between Grimm's legs, his manhood was lost, nothing but a slitted opening remaining down there while internally the once external reproductive systems became internal, and estrogen rapidly overwrote testosterone. The fur continuing creeping up, his scales became hair on skin with brown fur covering most of it. The exception would be up the center of his torso which instead had beige fur grow instead. Like his lower body, Grimm's upper body had changes as well, with some mass forming in some areas and mass being lost in others. The sides of his body sucked inward to leave a permanent indent near the navel on the sides of his body, and his back followed in suit. Grimm's back pushed into an arch, which all of these changes combined left Grimm with a rather noticeable hourglass figure. At Grimm's chest, two spheres bubbled out and progressively grew, forming into a sizeable set of breasts there. The mass on his shoulders slimmed down to give him a more narrow build, with mass on his arms being lost to become more slenderized. The size of Grimm's hands became smaller and more dainty, the digits losing their reptilian traits just like the digits at his feet had. As the fur reached Grimm's face, the lower half of it was covered in beige fur while brown fur covered the remainder of his body as his scales was finally converted into fur. Grimm's jagged snout became much smoother as the length of it became noticeably shorter, albeit wider. The slitted nostrils formed a proper nose underneath it, of which was triangular and a dark brown color that was almost black. On the sides of Grimm's muzzle, thin whiskers formed on the sides of it. At the top of Grim's head, two small and circular ears formed out from the holes that were once there. The length of his eyelashes became longer as the number of them multiplied and the width of his eyebrows became much thinner, leaving Grimm with a feminine face to go with his feminine body. The last to go would be the lump in his throat, causing his voice to rise up in octaves as the former dragon finished his transformation into an otter woman. Grimm would gain a new outfit to better fit his new form. At the top of his head, a pointed black hat formed with a brim that was so big it was larger than his entire head. Around his whole body, a dark purple robe materialized, covering up his body with it. A black collar formed around his neck, giving him the outfit of a witch. The last chance would be to Grimm's mind. It was already empty, but now the new personality was growing inside of it. The name Grimm meant nothing to her anymore, but instead she was Ruby, an otter with a large interest in witchcraft. She was naive and curious, and wound up meeting Katila by chance. Now, Ruby believed that she was Katila's apprentice, learning everything she could from her, practicing weaker versions of her spell to eventually work towards casting the full power versions. "Wow, I did it! I transformed a dragon!" Katila cheered to herself, her optimism and demeanour from before returning once the changes started to conclude. "I summoned one and made him into a cute otter girl! Feral dragons are so tacky, maybe if he was anthropomorphic like me I could have kept them the same!" she giggled a bit to herself as she noticed Ruby's daze start to wear off as she looked to the dragoness with admiration in her eyes. "So? Did it work? Did the dragon come?" Ruby asked hopefully, believing that she was the one who used to spell the coax the dragon here as opposed to Katila. "No quite, but we're get there someday my apprentice!" Katila answered, though Ruby pouted. "Oh maaan, I tried really hard! I wanted to bring a dragon here and make you proud!" "Oh hush!" Katila waved a hand and put it on Ruby's shoulders. "No one's perfect right away! I didn't just magically get as strong as I did! It's not like I could transform a dragon or something, I'm still learning!" "I'll make sure to keep practicing so you can get a dragon to transform, I promise!" Ruby said proudly. "You've already done more than enough for me in that department, don't you worry." Katila winked. "I think we take a break from that and work and getting you some more spells! Ever want to turn someone into a familiar? I know a few people who would make a great kitty companion for you!" "Ooooh, I'd love that! I always wanted one! It's like having a mini me!" "Yes, there's much fun in transformation arts! It's my specialty for a reason! One day you'll be able to make an apprentice of your own out of someone! Show them the ways of magic!" Katila smiled, wrapping her arm around her new otter apprentice. She was still quite proud of what she managed to do. Dragons were being of magic after all! Being able to transform one, especially so permanently was not something many witches could do! And even better, she now had someone to teach all her tricks to! She always wanted to take someone under her wing, who better than someone she made exactly for that purpose? "One day I'll teach everything you taught me to someone else! And then they'll teach that to their apprentice, and then theirs, and it'll be a whole cycle!" Ruby said excitedly. "But for now, I'm happy learning everything from you!" "Good girl. Let's get back to how cove and show you how to brew some potions. We'll have some fun tonight handing them out to people a few towns over! Never do magic in your own village, don't want to be run out of it after all!" "Noted." Ruby smiled. She was so lucky to have such a good teacher! There were so many spells, potions, and witchcraft she was eager to learn through Katila. The possibilities were endless, so there was going to be so much to learn! She loved every second of it! Part of her dragon self made it through with how impressive her magic was, but she still had a ways to go before it was perfected in the same way that Katila's had! Ruby had no recollection of her old life as Grimm, and had no reason to think she was ever anything but Ruby! Maybe Katila cast a spell on her at some point, but nothing serious! The thought of Ruby being a dragon was silly, she wasn't that mighty or good at magic, but perhaps under Katila's wing, she would be able to get as proficient at magic as one was!
