He bolted upright at the sound of his alarm going off on his bedside table. Looking around tired, he smacked his hand down on the snooze button. Raindrops softly fell against his window, creating a calm atmosphere. He had this dream multiple times before, about the haunting scene that happened a year ago. Exactly one year ago today. Instantly going from happy to sad, he flung his legs out the side of the bed, and murmured something under his breath. He sauntered over quietly to his mirror. Eyes still half closed, he ruffled his hair a bit. Rii stood at about 5'8". His jet black fur stood matched by bleach white fur along his legs, inside of his ears and on his sides. He was completly different different from other huskies his age, a complete outcast. His fur was completely opposite that of normal black and white huskies. He'd been tormented since elemantary school about his noticble difference. Over his 16 years of life, they were always spent alone. His parents never accpeted him fully for being different, they'd basically disowned him. They never spent time with him, never gave him the love he needed. He had to fend for himself once he could. So, last year, once the incident with his parents, he was moved into a group home. And, just like his parents, no one there accepted him. After a year of all everyones bullshit, he decided to move again. To another group home in the city. Today was the day he was moving out of the country and into the city. The sound of whispering outside his door made him look away from his mirror to the door. "Finally, that effing freak is moving out of our home," he heard one of the younger fox kits whisper. He growled softly and jerked the door open. The fox kit fell onto his face, and looked up. "Oh, um, I-I'm sorry Rii, we thought you were still asleep." Rii just rolled his eyes and shut the doors on them. He sighed and closes his eyes, slumping his body against the door. He wouldn't let them get today, not today.
