Christmas Time Finally! It was Christmas! Well, almost actually, but it was Christmas Holiday anyway. The snow had long since covered the ground of P.A.F.I.G.’s campus and the students had more than once fought with snowballs, snow disks, snow rockets, snow bombs and anything their powers could do with snow. Friends had ambushed each other’s and, unfortunately, some teachers had been caught in the crossfire; of course, the attackers had been punished with the task to remove the snow from the paths. Ynk almost had been hit by a snowball threw by one of his friends, one monkey named Dah Shie, when he had walked out of the main building, while he discussed with the headmaster about the mixing of inner and outer energies in the usage of their powers, but he had ducked barely in time, his ears getting grazed but the ball had hit the headmaster. For a moment, both had thought that the thrower would have been suspended or even expelled… but instead, the dragon had grinned and snapped his fingers. A little army of snowmen had appeared from the surrounding snow and had attacked the offender, burying the poor student under a massive heap of snow. After that, the headmaster had left the two dumbstruck students – one still under a comical amount of snow – a mischievous grin on his draconic lips, the flame between his horns dancing with the wind. Now, Ynk was in the dorms, on one of the comfy armchair, warped in a warm blanket, enjoying one of his favorite books: Harry Purrer. A small Christmas tree had been placed on a low table, beside the window, and Christmas tinsels all around the place, with other Christmas themed stuff, like little wooden elves, plastic flakes, and a little steam locomotive was running on tracks that had been placed close to the walls so no one would step on it, its little “Choo Choo" could be heard from time to time, and the most impressive about that train, is that it puffed out real steam. The atmosphere was playful but also quite at peace. Students were playing card or board games, on the tables or on the floor when no table was available, others were reading or even studying some more, to keep their brain in shape they said, others again were doing small tricks with their powers – tough it was forbidden to do it in the dorms – like that cheetah who had animated a reindeer plushy and made it run around the dorms, or that bear who had made the place sparkle with Christmas themed light tricks. Deciding to add his own contribute to the powers parade, Ynk focused on the window; with his tail, he drew a symbol he had discovered during his studies at P.A.F.I.G.: a linear wave symbol. Directing its power to the windows, some ice appeared on the glasses’ borders, forming little ice flakes. Satisfied at the results, Ynk went back to his book, enjoying the laughs, playful fights and soft Christmas songs in the background. All in all, in was going to be a cool holiday.
