Damien sighed as his stomach gave a grumble. He'd been busy all day long, rushing back and forth doing various chores, and he'd somehow ended up missing both lunch and dinner. Deciding to ignore it, he kept on walking through the woods he was in before a scent drifted to his nose, causing his stomach to rumble. Damien froze as he sniffed the air, picking up the smell of whoever it was. "No no, no eating random people in the forest." Damien grumbled to himself, though his stomach was saying something different. Damien kept walking as he tried to ignore the scent, which seemed to be getting tastier by the second. Each step brought a new thought of how best to prepare and eat whoever it was. Maybe a nice broth to cover them in? Possibly some tasty whipped cream? Coated in cheese? Damien acked and stopped as he found himself drooling. "M-Maybe a little peek at them won't hurt... they might even have food!" Damien said to himself as he headed off in the direction of the scent. Damien stayed silent as he crept through the bushes heading after whoever was also in the forest. After a moment he spotted someone in a clearing, though the trees blocked a good portion of his view. His hunger still building, Damien made his way closer and closer, sneaking from tree to tree, his paws light on the ground. He licked his lips as he got closer to striking distance, but then froze when a snap sounded from some where near. "Hello? Someone out there?" The other person said as the looked around before shrugging. "Must of been the wind..." Damien grinned and started back on the path towards his snack. Step after step his hunger kept on rising until finally he had a clear line of sight on his target. Not wasting a moment Damien practically jumped into the clearing and then pounced on the other fur, his stomach growling in hunger as he looked down at them... only to pause as he saw they where a bat. His eyes traveled down their arms where he saw the membrane that made up their arm wings. He then shifted and looked down at their foot paws and noticed that they also looked somewhat like another hand, which would allow the bat a good deal of grip when hanging upside down. Grumbling to himself Damien got off them and went back into the woods, leaving the bat laying there, very confused, not realizing he had just been saved from an acid bath thanks to his species.
