Yamasaki (3-5, 1 HR, 4 RBI) With tension thick in the air in Bracebridge, Game 6 opened with the Bombers in dour mood. Zugor Likand (BBB/Direwolf/MGR) had tried to rouse the troops as they faced Jane Howard who had been fairly shaky throughout the entire postseason. And they certainly rocked the vixen pitcher, racking up three runs in the second to leap to a 3-0 lead. Larry Howe (CHA/Cheetah/MGR) was already having the bullpen warmup in the top of the third as the fireworks began in earnest. Tanja Trejo, Likand's gamble to start so he could give Boris Ritter (BBB/Dulmen Pony/SP) one more day of rest was off to a good start on the game, but soon the hits came on, as the Foxes rang up 4 on her before she was yanked, scoring two more in the next two innings. The Bombers rang a fifth run up by the end of the fifth inning, but then the bats were silenced as the Swamp Foxes' bullpen continued what they'd done all series, befuddling the Bombers offense. It came down to the final inning for the Bombers, as Juanita seemed to let the stress get to her, loading the bases with only one out before forcing two very well-timed outs, stopping the Bombers cold as the Swamp Foxes' bench cleared, celebrating their first title in three years.
