Today's Game 2 had as much offensive fireworks to match the opening ceremony.  The Swamp Foxes roughed up ace Maxine Crumpley for four runs in the first three innings, led by a solo home run by Marcos Herrera in the first inning and small ball in the next two innings to bring three runs aboard.  But Joe Hutchins (Black Panther) put his faith in the wolfess as she served court for the next six innings, giving up only four hits.  Meanwhile the Pelicans offense came to life in the sixth, loading up on Foxes starter Ginger Thompson (CHA/SP/Calico Cat), and brought home by Papi Gato Luis Marquez with a three run shot.  But just as the game was seeming to continue to be 4-3, Jimmy West took the mound for the home team and gave up the tying and winning run in the eigth inning, bringing the series to a tie as it goes into the Big Easy on Wednesday.
