While wondering on the street, thinking about what to do, an anthro blue Sylveon wasn't paying attention as he pondered, bumping into a Mawile. She looked scared and nearly fell on the floor. She didn't look just scared, she looked tired. As if she had been running for a while. "Miss, are you OK?" The Sylveon asked and offered her a hand before the two heard some footsteps coming up fast behind the woman. She fled to the alleyway, only to see it was a dead end. a truck had parked there, blocking the way through as a machoke and midnight Lycanroc run to the fairy. "Hey! Have you seen a Mawile come by here!?" The machoke yelled a bit. The Lycaroc was catching his breath a bit as the fairy took a quick second to see what was going on. He nodded and pointed behind him at the corner of the block. The two ran off to the corner, looking as the Sylveon went to the alleyway to see the Mawile. "They're gone now, miss. Can you tell me what is wrong? You don't have to, but I get the feeling what's going on. I think I can help." It took a bit of time for her to calm down, but she did, taking a few breaths before she answered. "I'm... Thea. I'm just having bad luck with... everything. Plans didn't go right so I had to get a loan for college and..." "Those were Loan Sharks, were they?" The Sylveon asked. The Mawile turned her head a bit but she nodded. When she looked back, the fairy had a smile and she couldn't tell if the look was evil or friendly. "Miss, I would love to help with your problem! I am Mr. Faber, but as my friend, I'd be honored if you call me Dusk. Lets discuss things somewhere more private, shall we?" Dusk turned to go and looked back to make sure Thea was following. As they walked, the fairy went on his phone, making a call. "Hey Dalen? Get my office ready. I think I got a way in." He quickly hung up. Sensing Thea wanted to ask, he spoke very simply. "Don't worry. I'll let you in on the details in the office. No tricks." The walk wasn't very long, but it nearly made the Mawile panic. There was an old, worn out warehouse that scared her and Dusk knew why. "Relax, miss. We aren't going there." He pointed at a small office building across the street. "I know how you're feeling, but rest assured, you're safe. Ladies first." Dusk held the door open for his new friend. The two enter before Dusk escorts Thea to his personal office in the small building. A Zoroark that was blue, black and grey was waiting, standing next to the desk with a clipboard and a pen. "Take a seat, please." Dusk said as he pulled the chair in front of the desk out before he goes behind the desk and sits down. "So why don't I tell you what's going on?" It didn't feel like the Mawile had a choice. She gave a nod before the Sylveon went into great detail. "That warehouse where they do business may be in bad condition, but I wasn't to rejuvenate it into something the one thing this town doesn't have; a club! That place is about a block away from the college and two blocks away from apartments. It's an Ideal spot to draw in people that want to party! But when I tried to purchase it, their boss, Blake refused and didn't explain why. So I did some digging and found out they're Loan Sharks. This is where you come in, miss Thea. I have an offer for you." Dusk took out a contract and a pen for Thea. "Here's the deal; I will pay off your debt-even the interest in exchange for information. I want to know everything you know about them." There was no way this woman would just agree. Not paying attention to the contract and what it said was what got her in trouble in the first place, but after reading it, the contract was oddly straight forward. It only asked for information. There didn't seem to be any catch. She signed her name and put down how much she owed before handing it back. Once Dusk checked it, he smiled, stamped it with a bow stamp and offered a handshake to Thea. his hand glowed with a blue aura but it was hesitantly accepted. Both hands shared the same glow before it faded. The deal was made. "Now please give all details to my assistant, Dalen while I head to the bank. No need to worry mi-" a loud banging on the office door. "Open up! We know she's in there!" It was the loan sharks. Thea was shaking, but Dusk answered the door. "Hello, sirs. What can I do for you?" A smug smile was on his face as he looked at a fuming Garchomp. "Bring her out. Now. She has been avoiding her debt for way too long" There was a very deep sense of restraint in his tone. "Sir, in this country, companies have rights." The Sylveon smiled almost sinisterly. "And we have the right to refuse to let anyone into our property. As soon as you enter, you are trespassing. If that is a problem for you, we can get the law involved. I'm sure cops would like to know why you're demanding her to come out." Dusk could feel the heat of this dragon's face. He could even see him hold back on hitting the smug fairy. He turned to the Lycanroc and Machoke that were with him. "Lets go." With those two words uttered, he pushed past them with his shoulders, walking away, his two thugs following him. Dusk chuckled before heading back in to the frightened Mawile. "Sorry about that, miss. I have more good news for you" he smiled, assuring to Thea as he spoke "You'll have to stay here for your protection. I'm sure they will keep someone outside to try and ambush you. luckily, we're renting out a few apartment buildings higher in the building. it's technically company property, so you can stay in one of them for now. Let my assistant, Dalen, important details. I'll get you a key." So far, the plan was going great. If he could get one loaner to talk, he could get a lot more to talk, which means more witnesses and evidence to prove to the law about this illegal business without searching the warehouse. ...... It has been a week, but plenty of information was collected and leaked to police, thanks to several seeking some relief from debt. Dusk was expecting another meeting with another victim from the loan sharks, but instead, the Garchomp barged in. "Blake, good to see you agai-" the fairy was interrupted by a slam on his desk by the dragon's fist. "LISTEN HERE, YOU SMUG LITTLE RUNT!" This was already going well. "I knew something was going on when you started talking and protecting my clients, but I didn't complain when it got us money. Now, however, one of my spies in law enforcement say the cops have enough evidence to seek a warrant from a judge!" This made the fairy smile "Yes. I was surprised myself when I heard you were a smuggler. Not very professional to let the loaners in the warehouse, but I guess you can't discuss things in their homes where they can hide a camera. it's your own fault for not having a separate building for those things. I guess you'll be looking at jail time, huh? That must mean the warehouse will be available." "Oh is that what this is about, hmm?" The Garchomp smirked. "Well jokes on you. if they find anything, we may end up in jail. Maybe even prison. But it means they'll be searching everything. Could mean more damage. And take even longer to buy it too" "True....." Dusk said, acting like he was deep in thought. "But... I'm patient. And I can wait. Can you?" The question made Blake's smile fall off and return to a glare. ".....What do you want? And if I do it, how will you get me out of this?!" "Straight to the point. I like that about you." The blue fairy said as he gets out a contract. "I own you and your goons. As well as the warehouse. I'll make the evidence disappear, you work for me, and I get my club. I'll even pay your legal fees and lawyers if it comes down to that. Go ahead and read the contract." So this was the big plan all along... Blake swiped the contract and went over it. Contract was simple. The pesky fairy gets rid of evidence and keeps the gang out of jail and in return, Dusk owns everything. The dragon was thinking about it... If he runs it for Dusk, the jerk may not think twice about inspecting it himself. Could keep smuggling and loaning on the side. And if he gets caught, he could blame Dusk! Thinking he had an advantage, he signed it before he shook Dusk's hand! ...... "....Boss has been in there a bit too long, Alex." Machamp said, sitting next to Lycanroc just outside of Dusk's office. "Yeah. And I can't hear any beatings either. What you think they're doing, Kyle?" The Lycanroc asked. "I dunno...." Kyle stared sternly at the door. "But boss better not carelessly agree to anything. I don't trust that flashy weirdo...." The door opened soon enough. Their boss came out with a big grin. "Okay, boys, he may be annoying, but as long as we do this right, he wont come back and we'll make more money than before by using him." he muttered, quietly. "Just play along and once he's gone, I doubt he'll care where the money comes from as long as he gets it. We'll be running a club and keeping our businesses no problem. Now lets get going...." The situation was a bit weird to the two, but they went along, following their boss. ... A week later, the police couldn't find anything and left. They had the proof to start an investigation, but not enough to arrest anyone. Blake knew he wasn't going to get anything he had back, but he still had his connections and would come out on top. He was walking to his office in the warehouse when he spotted Alex and Kyle. "That blue rat in the pink suit will be here soon for a meeting. just tell him where my office is." The two nodded. Something was off about them... they were standing stiff like boards and they were oddly silent. The Garchomp didn't see much because some of the lights were busted, so he went to his desk and took a seat. The fairy came in... with Alex and Kyle. "Why are you two in here?" Blake asked. "This is supposed to be between me and....What..." The dragon stopped talking as he noticed blue, pink and white hearts flowing from both goons' eyes. Something was very wrong. "Like it?" Dusk asked. "When the contract said I get everything that included your and their minds. The rest of your thugs are already mine. I wanted you to be last. I have no respect for people like you..." As Dusk explained himself, he was showing more aggression and annoyance. "Your crimes, loans, they all damage the economy. Not just for me. For everyone! Do you know how bad that is?!" Dusk wasn't the only one who was angry. Blake was as well. He stood up, shouting. "FORGET IT, YOU LITTLE RAT! THE DEAL IS O-" SNAP! With a snap of Dusk's fingers, Blake was standing as stiff as his top goons, blue, pink and white hearts flowing form his eyes. "Goodbye, Blake. You wont be missed." Dusk muttered to himself. "Now then, start cleaning this place up. I'll have maintenance come in to tell me how much repairs will cost. Then I'm getting a designer and engineers to make this a club. Oh right, that building I was renting with an office and apartments? you and your thu....Um. Employees will live there now. Limit exposure. I don't want people to know what I did to you all." "Oh yes and to help conceal this secret..." Dusk looked behind him to the door, seeing his Zoroark assistant, Dalen come in with a box. Once it was placed on the desk, both foxes opened it up to show some heart shaped shades. "I want you all wearing these when working, in public and even when you have company at your apartments. No exceptions!" With the list of orders made, the mindless Garchomp nodded before taking some heart shades for himself to put on. "Alright. We're done here for now, Dalen." Dusk said to his assistant. "Lets go." As the two business Pokemon walked out of the office, the Zoroark had some questions. "Dusk, are you sure all of that was necessary?" "Absolutely." Dusk replied as they walk to the exit. "If I let that sand shark have his free will, he will try to run his old business behind my back and blame me if he ever gets caught. And he wont learn anything by rotting away in a jail cell, so employing him this way keeps him out of trouble, doesn't waste him or his workers and saves me the trouble of looking for employees of my own. I know it's evil, but it's a win in almost every way!" It made sense... And Dusk made some good points. Enslaving a mind was still wrong. But who cares? "Makes sense, but what about the spies Blake had? We don't have them yet." Dusk stopped dead in his tracks right in front of the exit. Dalen had a good point. "Hmm... I'll give Blake a call later. I was going to reprogram him and his boys, but suppose we should make sure we have them all first. Any extra workers, we can send to Wish Park. Oh wait..." He looked at the Zoroark. "I haven't shown you Wish Park yet, have I?" After thinking about it... the Zoroark shook his head no. "Then we'll go there after we call a Technician!" the fairy smiled as the two walked out, still talking. "I'll even get you a very importaint Pokemon pass! Don't want anyone brainwashing you to work there~" "Gee, thanks, Dusk" His assistant smiled. "I appre....Wait. What did you say?"
