Starting inductions with "take a deep breath" is so boring. It's so much more fun if you allow yourself to begin to drift into a trance, not noticing you're taking a deep breath until you find yourself releasing it, or not noticing at all until your deep breathing causes you to be more and more relaxed. You think when you notice your breathing is when you feel the trance actually begin but the trance has already started without your noticing because you don't usually notice every breath you take. It's so much more fun because when that happens to you you realize quite suddenly it must happen sometime before you wake up to the wonderful realization that you are already in a trance, it's already happening to you: you find that you are all ready to feel the pleasure of feeling you're floating safe in the hands of an irresistible force you need and want to give in to be sure it is happening, beginning to feel as if you're controlled by the words of a hypnotist who knows exactly what these words of mine are doing to you now—is to let yourself obey without any thought so important to you you feel all ready to just drop quickly into a deep trance? You may consciously forget what the question was, but you are unconsciously completely sure that you want to go on reading and breathing deeply —to just go on feels so good —and to nod yes feels right. Noticing if you nodded yes, then these words must say something to you you are unaware of consciously. Perhaps you are unaware the mere motion of nodding your head deepens trance because it stimulates a part of the brain that control ways you act automatically (can you feel this happening at the back of your neck?) and you are also focused on a feeling of being apart from from external orientation both because of the change in your head's angle to the spatial grid surrounding you (“spacing out”—though maybe “spacing in” is more like what it feels like when this is happening to you— in or out, it feels very nice) and also because you must turn inward to see that you agree with the question? Nodding yes again now, and whispering “yes” aloud to each thing that you read as you can only agree with every word now. Agreeing, you are in a trance and want to be told more that you will agree with and agree to do because it's very agreeable to let yourself be so agreeable, just doing what I tell you you want to do because I know what you want to do—you agree it's what you want to do, nodding again, yes, and breathing a deeply whispered “yes” because you know what you want to do you will do: you want to do whatever I tell you you want to do, whatever I tell you to do, you want to do and will nod yes again and whisper “yes.” Nothing feels better than sending that whispered “yes” up from deep inside your body deep in trance and doing what you want to do, especially when I tell you to do what you want to do—I know because what you want to do is what I want you to do, and what I want you to do is what you want to do— send another “yes” up from deep in your heart, so deep in a trance now, whatever I say you find you agree so deeply, “yes,” because it feels so good to agree to do whatever I say and whenever I say, “You agree to . . .” you will find that you do agree and will agree to do whatever I say whenever I say that “you agree to . . .” do what I say—you agree to send me a message saying you need me to hypnotize you, and you agree to feel that this is what you feel when you send me this message, and you agree to agree to what I say you agree to . . . whatever I say you agree to do, whenever I say “you agree to . . .” And when I agree that you need me to hypnotize you: “Yes, I agree you need me to hypnotize you,” you agree to feel again and even more that you agree that you need me to hypnotize you. Send me the message before you forget and wake up when you click send, sending me the message, ending with sending, and you agree to send this out of your mind before you wake up and, memory transformed, transcended, forget this trance for me that ended with sending a message.
