Chapter 4: “Hello Markham,” said Tyrannus. “I assume that you’re the one who’s going to train me, right?” asked Markham. “No, not really, hence you wouldn’t be able to keep up with me,” Tyrannus explained. “Okay, that's a bit of a stretch and slightly speciestic,” Markham remarked. “I’m not exaggerating nor am I belittling you…, my training is just simply too much for someone such as yourself,” said Tyrannus. “You haven’t even tried training me yet,” said Markham. “Yes, but I don’t need to try anything with you because I can already sense all of your capabilities, your strengths, and your weaknesses,” said Tyrannus. “Yeah, but how’s that possible?” asked Markham. “Because just like many of my fellow jolteons and the jolteons before me, we’re all born with either one or many special gift(s) that were genetically brought down from everyone’s and/or my own ancestry and so on,” said Tyrannus. “Wow, that’s really cool,” said Markham. “I bet you humans wish you’d have something like that, huh?” asked Tyrannus. “Is there not like a half jolt half human on this planet?” asked Markham. “Well, in a manner of speaking, yes, there is, but we don’t talk about them,” said Tyrannus. “Oh, I see… I can sort of understand that,” said Markham. “Now, the person who will be training you will be Johnny Swift,” said Tyrannus. “Who?” asked Markham. “He means me,” said a 6 foot tall Jolt standing 6 ft behind Markham having his arms cross. “I’m guessing you’re related to Ryan Swift,” said Markham. “Well, yes, he’s my older brother,” said Johnny. “I’ll be watching you Markham, so don’t try anything suspicious at all,” said Tyrannus. “Who are you again?” asked Markham. “I am Tyrannus,” said Tyrannus. “Shinu told me that you’re one of the most powerful Jolts in existence and that I’ll be fighting alongside you in battle,” said Markham. “Maybe,” said Tyrannus. “Are you two done chatting? Come on, we all gotta job to do here,” said Johnny. “Right,” said Tyrannus. “So, what are we going to work on first?” asked Markham. “We’re going to mostly work on increasing your stamina,” said Johnny. “Just my stamina?” asked Markham. “Yes, we need you to be able to go all out for at least forty-five minutes or so,” said Johnny. “Okay, but what about helping me master all of my abilities first…?” Markham said nervously. “That’s after stamina training because you will need the stamina to be able to use those abilities for long periods of time,” Johnny said to Markham. “Okay, I understand but-” Markham would get cut off by Johnny. “Enough questions, now get on the tread!” Johnny exclaimed. “These are going to be one of those days, huh?… Oh heavenly joy,” Markham muttered to himself. “Did I stutter?” asked Johnny, giving a death glare to Markham, but not like with actual murderous intent. “N-no, of course not,” Markham said submissively in fear of what Johnny is capable of, even though he doesn’t really know what Johnny's actual abilities are at all or anything about him really. “Then do when told something the first time or else you’ll get smoked,” said Johnny. “Smoked? Like you’re gonna kill me and eat me? Like from a grill?” Markham fearfully asked. Tyrannus would silently chuckle for a moment after hearing what Markham asked. “Wait, what? That’s not what I meant- look just get on the freaking tread already, the entire world’s at stake here, including your existence as well… In other words, you are on Victor’s hit list just like me and the rest of this entire race,” said Johnny. Markham would get on the treadmill and not comment on Johnny’s statement as he already knows that he is also another one of Victor’s targets. Johnny would flip a switch up behind thus activating the treadmill looking-ass platform moving Markham backwards. Markham would start moving forward as the tread tries to move him backwards. “All right now, let’s speed this up!” Johnny exclaimed. The tread would start to speed up. “C’mon at least let me pace myself first because like any sane I’d prefer to first go slow and then start moving my way up from there!” Markham exclaimed. Two hours and thirty minutes later, Markham feels like he’s been running for days on end without any sort of breaks. “C’mon only thirty minutes more to go! You got this Markham!” Johnny yelled to Markham. “Huff… huff… I feel like I’m going to die of burnout… Please… Make it stop! I haven’t had anything to eat or drink this morning… I need a cough cough breather dammit!” Markham yelled, out of almost to complete emotional exhaustion. Tyrannus would stand, but also watch as Markham goes literally one hundred fifty-six million, six hundred thousand miles an hours on the treadmill and would see that Markham is starting to generate some sort of an electromagnetic field (Wavelength of Field: Nine hundred ninety-nine and three hundred eight billion, one hundred ninety-three million, three hundred thirty-three thousand, three hundred thirty-three trillionths Millimeters; Frequency of Radiation: Three hundred Megahertz; Photon Energy: One and two trillion, four hundred seven billion, two million, five hundred thirty-nine thousand, seventy-four ten-trillionths Microelectron-volts; Energy: One hundred ninety-eight and seven trillion, eight hundred twenty billion, eight hundred seventy-one million, one ten-trillionths Joules; Temperature: Minus four hundred fifty-nine and sixty-six thousand, four hundred seventy-eight hundred-thousandths Fahrenheit; Photon(s) per Joule: Five septillion, thirty sextillion, six hundred thirty-four quintillion, three hundred seventy-two quadrillion, four hundred eighty-seven trillion, two hundred billion) that surrounds his entire body from ears to feet. Ten seconds later, “That aura… wait a second… Johnny, can you for the love of Holbert stop the tread right friggin now!?” Tyrannus aggressively and fearfully asked. “Why?” asked Johnny. Johnny would analyze the state Markham is in. “Holy shit!” Johnny exclaimed. “I see that you are now understanding why,” Tyrannus said to Johnny. Johnny would without hesitation slow down the treadmill to a stop for Markham with one flick of a switch. As Markham began to slow down, his electromagnetic aura that had surrounded his entire body would begin fading away and as Markham stopped moving he began to fall forward. Tyrannus would catch Markham by the shoulder. Making sure Markham doesn’t collapse, fall on his face, or die of all things. “I don’t know what we just witnessed, but that was very unorthodox,” said Johnny. “Well, maybe for you, but not for me,” said Tyrannus. “Yeah, that makes sense,” Johnny replied. Johnny would then use the communicator he had in his left pocket and call for a medical emergency. “Yes operator, I’m Specialist Johnny Swift calling on behalf of our ally, Markham, the emergency code is blue,” said Johnny.
