Feel the pressure building deep inside
Paws already trembling by her side
Slide to the floor against the wall
Block all thought to prevent the fall

Too late already but she has to try
Try to breath and try to hide
Pull her knees up to her chest
Though she knows its a pointless quest

The world is spinning beyond control
Fighting hard to remain a whole
Tears falling down her face
She knows already its a hopeless fate

Struggling for each small breath
She cannot beat this repeated test
A rasping sound as she tries to speak
And twin tears fall down each cheek

Halting words that will not come
Leave her feeling small and numb
She reverts her form to the feral beast
Daring those who would declare her weak

Baring teeth as she stands her ground
Arching up as she sounds a proud howl
No words are needed in this way
Only a snarl to send demons away
