Greenmoore verse Curious reign au 1922, moons landing, Asia As Travis sat in his room he, was grounding up bits of bark from a tree that he genetically engineered. With a smile he looked to the very healthy looking mini tree that grew in his room beside the window. With its white leaves that resembles that of moths. With the bark finely ground, and the sun was about several hours away from rising. Then looking over with his journal wide open. He was checking over his notes, making sure every ingredient he was about to mix was correct. As he had finally perfected formula, he was excited to drink his concoction this day. Using the bark from the tree he had created, and the right type of other ingredients. He can projected his astral body out of his physical form. Something he wanted to use while he sleep. The main reason was that he wanted to surprise his fiance I'm his dreams. As sometimes his lover would visit him using some intricate witches trinkets. So it was something that he thought was a nice change of pace. Now finish, looking at his beaker. He swirls a translucent glowing cyan colored liquid. With its beauty, he lifted it up and then drank it. Having a bit of a syrup taste to it. He settled down the bowl and walked over to the windows. Where he covered the window, making sure he covered them completely. Making sure no light would leak in. As that would be not really good for him if sunlight touched his skin while he slept. Then taking off his apron, and changing into clothing better suited for sleep. Where he then climbed into his bed, and laid his head on his pillow. With the effects of the potion setting in, he had let out a yawn as his eyes slowly closed shut. Only for him to open his eyes again, as well as feeling much different then earlier. Sitting up did Travis had noticed that he phased right through the sheets. Seeing that did he quickly realized that he had astral projected. Not long after coming upon that thought, he look down on himself. Only to see his sleeping figure. Having a smile on his face, he cheered in joy as his potion had successfully worked Especially in a fast rate. Then looking over to his door, he walked over to it. Where he start to notice a pool of water leaking in from the bottom. Or what looked to be water. Then he quickly turned the doorknob and braced for what was about to happen next. As a Tidal wave came crashing in as it fills the whole room. Yet Travis was not effected. When he opened his eyes he sees that it was still his room but with a lot less color. More of a ethereal look to it, as well as a lot of things floating around. Like if he truly was underwater. Seeing all this had left him with a huge grin on his face. As his excitement was bubling to the surface. He leapt with joy as he exited out of the room and into a hallway. One that looks exactly like the one out of his apartment door. Yet it wasn't. With all of that now is the important part for him to figure out how to navigate such a place. Though one thing that he knew, one of the most important rule is that the living have more influence in this realm then the dead. Focusing his mind, he pictured that of his wolf lover. He imagined him fallen asleep at his desk back at a small house he bought. Just the thought of that made him giggle. Just the thought of his face, his smile, hearing the way he talks. It made his heart leapt. Where not to long after that could he feel a familiar presence down the hall. A faint green light shining, one that caused to Travis to cautiously walk down there. Getting closer to the light, the halls were becoming less and less familiar. With it walls shifting, bending, becoming into very nonsensical reality. That was until Travis came upon a wooden door, where the green light emanated from. Having a good feeling about this, he reached out his hand. Fingers wrapped around the door knob, as he turned it. With a satisfying click, the door creak opened as it revealed a room. A bedroom to be exactly. Bit of a mess of trinkets and other objects strewn all around the room. With a very unkempt bed. Then at a in the corner of the room sit a desk. And a sleeping man at it. This was what made Travis giggled as he walked closer to the man. He looked over at the soft sleeping face of his fiance. And was excited to surprise him in his sleep. It was then he placed a hand on Steve shoulder. It was where he could feel emotions that emanated from the sleeping figure. Then focusing a bit he closed his eyes, trying to worm his way into his dreams. Not long after that did he hear the sounds of leaves rustling. He opened his eyes to see that his new surrounding was that of a forest. Though looking around carefully, his smile begun to fade away. As the forest he stood in wasn't any lushful woods he was use to. No, it was a grey woods, with the sky equally as grey. All except the color of the blood red leaves. This left Travis quite confused, as he had thought he knew his fiance. Yet being in this bizarre mindscape of his. Had him left with many questions. Wanting to find his lover he traveled through the woods. Trying to find anything, some where his lover Steve could be at. Through all the books and all the places he's been in. Has he never seen any woods that looked like this. Not long after did he started shouting, calling out Steve name. Each time he called out for him, did he hear the echo of his voice in the distant. With each step, he could feel the crunching of leaves. Though suddenly, to his surprise he felt something wrapped around his foot and yanked him under. The sheer panic of that caused to waves his arms around frantically. Screaming out Steve name. Not long after was he thrown into a cage, hitting the walls of it hard. The pain that he felt couldn't lesson the fear that he was currently feeling. Pushing himself to the corner of the cage he looked around wildly. Trying to perform any kind of magick to help him escape from this imprisonment. He could feel his fang sharpening, as well as his ears becoming pointed. He could feel himself stressing out even more as he waved his hands, yet no magick could be perform. As he forgot that as one is in this plane, magick cannot simply be performed normal. As he was frantically trying get himself out of this cage, he suddenly heard a familiar voice call out to him. "Close you eyes pup!" "What! Steve!" Travis looked around still scared and confused on what was happening. "Listen to my voice, and close your eyes." He heard Steve say. "A-Alright," Travis agreed with his voice somewhat wavering. Closing his eyes, he then heard. " Now slowly take a breath and cross your arms over your chest." Following his instructions he crossed his arms. Taking in that deep breath. Feeling his breath enter his body and fill his lungs. Once he did he held it in, until he heard Steve tell him to breath out. "That's good Pup, your doing well. Now I want you to breath out slowly." Doing so, he could feel all his panic and fear slowly drained out of him. Not long after that did he hear the sound of the cage breaking apart. Following that did he felt large arms wrapped around him. He could also feel himself being pulled close to a larger body. His fears was about all gone. Nestling his head close to the werewolf chest, he could hear his heartbeat. The soft rhythmic sound was what caused Travis to slowly open his eyes. He sees that they were in an entirely different place, somewhere from those woods. But instead at a grey looking beach, With very still water. It was then Travis called Steve by his name, "S-Steve?" In response Steve relaxed his hold on Travis and asked," Travis what are you doing here?" Hearing him call him by his name, it was something he knew that he was being very serious. "I'm sorry, you always visited in my sleep, and I been working on a new project. I was just trying to surprise you-," Travis started to ramble on. "Have you lost your noodles or something, you can't surprise me like that Pup. I told you before that I, I could've bump ya or something." Steve tells him. "I'm, I'm sorry." With a sigh Steve replied." Pup it's alright, look im sorry. I didn't mean to come off as a tough guy." Travis knodded his head as he listened to Steve talked. "I was just worried about you, my mind is not meant for any unwanted cat to just glom around." "You placed traps in your mind?" Travis looked at him, surprised that something could be possible in that field. "Of course if anything this joint of mine is my palace. The most powerful thing I have." He tells him. After a moment of silence and seeing his lover was still a bit shaken up from what had happened. Steve stood up and held out a hand towards the vampire. "Come on, let's take a stroll around my noggin." Knodding his head Travis slowly took his hand. Where with the help of Steve he was pulled back up to his feet. Without saying much word, he followed Steve. Still gently holding hands. "Let's go I got a real ritzy place we can be at." Steve shot a smirk at him. The soft eyes that stared at him, his familiar confidence and how he rubbed his finger with travis. He felt more and more comfortable in this place. Especially being around his tender lover. Walking through and odd looking town, empty yet warm. Travis asked him," what is this place?" "Oh this old place, it's were I grew up for part of my youth." Steve replied. "Youth? But you said you grew up in in Greenmoore, the same as me." "Well I did grew up there bout when I moved in. But before all of that I lived in a hidden island that my people called Meyer haven." "Your people?" Travis asked. Which earned a small smile on the wolf face. "That's a tale for another day. Though all you gotta know is that this was where I grew up in and that it's somewhere I hold precious in my head." He tells him. Smiling Travis tell him," well I would love to visit the real place with you one day. Though in reaction had caused the werewolf smile to wane a bit. Something that the vampire noticed. Curious Travis piped up and asked," What's that mug all about?" "That might be a little complicated right now," he chuckles back. Leaning into him Travis said," we'll work on it later." Which causes the both of them to laugh, as they had came upon an what seem to be a large castle. At all Travis only aw at the marvelous sight of such a structure. "Told ya it'll be really swanky." " that it is," Travis replied. When walking into the building it's halls being a mosaic of non Euclidean structures. Something like that threw off the vampire. "How, does this place looks exactly this in real life?" "Of course not, this is how I laid out this joint to confuse people like you." "But how? "Well this something that my ancestors developed." This caused his ears to perk up, something case Travis brain to try to remember everything he read from the Hayes book of secrets. Yet he hadn't remember any such spells. Seeing the somewhat puzzled face of his vampiric lover, the wolf laughed. " you won't find it in any of my books, it's all in here." He pointed to his head. "Your family passed it down verbally?" "Well of course the only safe place my family could think of think hiding it." "Well why not use a singularity spell? Surely you could use that to conceal such spell?" Yet upon saying those words, Travis had immediately regretted them as he said. " oh my apologies I didn't mean to degrade-" "Don't be bunny, Pup I know no one in my family has ever made it the ranks of such magick. But that don't mean that was ever problem with us." Steve said as he lifted up Travis hand and lightly nibbled on it. With a slight blush, Travis smiled as he said," your to kind." Then arriving to a garden filled with many large plants. It was something that Travis had noticed. That all these plants that bore a unique type of flower he never seen. That they also bore cloudy looking eyes. "Wh-what are these?" Travis asked. "Where I'm from there are rulers of this land. That we call them the bell warden." Touching the leaves he continued, saying. "And when they die, they are buried here. Where they are turned into the flowers that you are seeing. Finally living the peaceful rest they wanted in life." "Why did you take me here?" Travis questioned as he found such an odd location to bring him to. Let alone hold deep within subconscious. With a small grin, Steve ruffled the vampire hair. To which he replied," what I thought guy like you would love the smell of these flowers." "Steve," Travis called out to keep the wolf in track. "Alright alright, long story short is that when I was a real small Pup. I would come here to find a sense of peace." Steve said as he squat besides the plant. Patting the stone next to him he urged his lover to join him, To which Travis did. "You see I got a cousin, well if you could say that. But a cousin none the less." He started. "Compared to me he was born with a knack for magick. While as you knew my wolf blood Made it difficult to perform magick." Travis listened Intently as he held the wolf hand, as he felt a peg of guilt on how he treated his lover when they first met. "Now he was groomed to be the next ruler of the island, all thanks to how perfect he was. Not that I want to rule this place anyway. But I was just jealous of him, and how he had so much great power coming natural to him. While for a Jokester like me can never even come close to a guy like him." "Steve," Travis spoke. "O hold on Pup, I'm not done yet." Steve stopped him before he continued. "When I was younger, when I was always angry and hurt about my circumstances. I would always come here. My ma always said I had a special knack for this place. Only a some few could hear our the voices of previous bell wardens here. And here I would hear things, stuff I took as advice. Stuff that really brought me some comforts." With a small soft smile Travis tighten his grip. As well as looked him in the eyes as he said," well I'm flatter that you put so much trust in me." In response to that Steve had given Travis a small peck on the cheek. Then he when to sit on the stone ground near the plants. Where he dusted off the seat next to him and patted it down, signaling to Travis to sit right beside him. Answering with a smile he sat down besides the wolf. Where Steve draped an arm around the vampire and pulled him close to him. Snuggling close to him Travis said," I don't want this to end." "I know," Steve replied. With Travis resting his head on the wolf, he couldn't help but have a warm feeling within his chest. A feeling he's all to familiar with. Sitting there just enjoying being around him. As the same can be said about Steve. With them sitting in the silence, for a bit of time. It was Travis who spoke up. Saying, " tell me more about yourself." "You already know a lot about me," "Tell about more about this place, how growing up was like here." Leaning forward he kissed Travis on the forehead. Replying," only if you promise me your not to come to my dreams unannounced." "I promise, if you take me back here once in a while." Rolling his eyes the wolf happily agreed. Which proceeded to cause the vampire to snuggle closer. What followed next was the wolf talked about certain things from his old homelands. As Travis stayed motionless as he was very much enveloped in his lover tales of a far away land. Hearing strange and bizarre things that he hope to one day see. That's if his lover takes him there of course. This continued until Steve had could feel the shift on things. Looking at the wolf face, Travis could tell as well. That Steve was about to wake up. Meaning the same won't be to long for Travis as well. The last thing the wolf did was hug his lover and held him tight. Travis did the same, with eyes closed he could smell his lover. Until it was gone. Including the feeling of Steve presence. Opening his eyes he could see that he was back in his room. Hugging a pillow of his, with his blanket on top of him. Letting out a sign, he grumbled as he crawled out of bed. Oh how time moves so fast. Yet that caused Travis to smile. As he expected the day to go by just as fast. He couldn't wait to fall asleep again, he had a certain feeling that Steve will want to visit him again.
