Translated transcript of audio recording from 3/June/1978 of Dr. Annika Clasen interviewing distressed patient Josua Destinn(Age 35). Patient medical papers cite admittance for paranoid schizophrenia, audiotory hallucinations, violent outbursts, and delusion of being the locus missing person cases in his surrounding area. Patient had been refusing verbal communication for a period prior to interview for 3 months. At about 13:50 on 2/June/1978 patient began acting hysterical. After staff on had tried high dose sedation and anti-psychotics patient was still acting in heavy hysterics upon waking from tranquilizers. The patient's doctor was called from her vacation by staff for instructions and review. She began interview with audio recording for later consultation and review of patient's case at 8:24. Notation of voices for patient and doctor will be AC (Annika Clasen) and JD (Josua Destinn) with notations for tone or background sounds as needed. (JC is audible in the background whimper and breathing heavily as recording begins.) AC: I am Dr. Annika Clasen and it is the 3rd of June 1978. This my interview with Josua Destinn. Josua woud you please tell me what has you so aggitated? (JD has notable nervous stutter that is not transcribed.) JD: Ha! Yes! Tell you why? Won't believe me if I do, no one does. Is why I'm here! AC: I want to help, but there's nothing I can do if you won't talk with me. JD: Help with more needles, little stabs of hate! AC: No, No Josua that is- the only way they know of how to help you, because you won't say what's the matter. (JD spends a moment chuckling and take a sharp deep breath, nervous stutter is lessened now.) JD: Right, as you wish, it won't change anything. It's the screams, the screaming. (AC being near the recorder can be heard taking notes as written, "First mention of 'screams'.") AC: So you hear screams? What can you tell me about them? JD: I know you can't hear them, no one does but me always can. But their wrong; sound wrong, feel wrong, work wrong. (AC notes; "new delusion construction? Recheck file for previous mentions of 'screams'") AC: Wrong? What's wrong with them Josua? (JD begins to sound agigtated again and can be heard giving a audible whine.) JD: They hurt me... AC: How do they hurt you? (AC notes questions are hightening his emotional distress and appears to begin crying. A sniffle can be heard in the background, and nervous stutter is presenting once more.) JD: The screams, I don't hear them right. I feel them push through my skin, under my meat! (JD is begining to raise his voice, and sound terse.) AC: Please, stop and take a de- JD: Shut up! You wanted to know! But I hear it deeper- (There is silence other than JD's hard breathing and whines.) JD: It digs through my bones, to the marrow. ( drag of a cup can be heard on the table.) AC: Have a moment, take a drink and have a few breathes. (Drinking is heard, followed by JD breathing.) AC: Can you tell me more about them? Do you recognize them? (JD heard stifling a snicker and sniffle again.) JD: No, no, no, no but it's how that makes them wrong. They're far, but right next to me. AC: I don't und- (JD's voice is raised to aggitated yelling.) JD: I wasn't done talking! It's like sun light! AC: Sun light? (JD repeats some words in triplcate with different inflections and tones, denoted by a '*' before word. No reasonable explanation for why forth coming.) JD: Yes! I know *you are not stupid, *you are a *doctor! The sun's *light takes 7 or 9 minutes to reach us on *Earth. The light of *distant stars taking *god knows how long. AC: I still understand Josua. (JD can be head stammering and growing more upset.) JD: Heard on science show that everything is delayed, even a little bit so it's like seeing a ghost of the present just a moment ago. But the screams come from the light! AC: Why does it come from the light? (JD can be heard pulling against restraints while yelling.) JD: Because it hunts there! Anything can hide in the dark, even we can! But it doesn't, and it just needs a speck of light to hide! It's way the sound is that makes torments me. AC: What is it about the sound, and the screams? You keep bringing it up. JD: I hear screams, next week I may see person or people is missing. I started checking my city, everytime a scream someone goes. Also hear it before people are gone! I never know the people so I can't tell them, and all think I'm crazy! (AC can be heard writing on pad, "Link back to paranoia, and hallucinations.". JD meanwhile is alternating between chuckling and sniffling.) AC: Why are you chuckling and as you're crying Josua? JD: I know the voices this time, and so I'm happy and scared. AC: Why is that? JD: It's our's doctor. (There's silence expect for JD's chuckling and sniffles for almost half a minute.) AC: I think we will need to start a new cou- (AC is cut off as she and JD begin screaming. Both can be heard yelling, screaming in great distress with no other sound present. Staff report not hearing anything even a guard who patrolled past the door. This period continues for 6 minutes, after which there is silence.) (Audio here's guard checking the room 30 minutes later and then turning recorder off.) Neither Dr. Annika Clasen or Josua Destinn have been seen since. Police presume situation is elaborate staged assisted escape, or kidnapping
