A crashing encounter Ynk was, as usual during the week-end, running in the forest, a few miles from his parents’ home. He tried to be as often as he could out of this house, so he wouldn’t see the blatant favoritism of his parents for his younger siblings. He couldn’t help but resent his parents for that, but he didn’t blame his brother and sister. They weren’t at fault, they just didn’t know better, their parents having educated them this way. Angrily, Ynk suddenly made a spin, his tail slashing the air. A black trail flew out of the black tip of his tail to a nearby tree… and cut it in half, horizontally. The tree fell with loud cracking noises before an even louder ‘SLAM’ echoed in the woods. He did it several times, screaming his frustration and making fall more trees and digging trails in the ground. After 3 minutes of venting, Ynk was bended over his knees, panting hard. Using his power so much in a so little time easily tired him out. After a few moments, he took a deep breath and stood straight, doing slow and deep breathes, calming down his heart beat and his anger. Suddenly, the birds flew from their trees in panic. Ynk immediately looked up and saw a big, flaming ball coming down. “Fuck me…” he muttered before running in the direction it was coming from. If he saw right, the meteorite should pass far above him and crash further in the forest. And saw right he did; though the fire ball passed above him by a long shot, he still could feel the heat on his fur and… did he smelt burn fur as well? Luckily, his white pelage was intact. He looked up and what he saw surprised him as much as his powers when he found about them: a big -what he guess starship- was crashing! So alien did exist! At that thought, he two things: first he palm faced, of course if magic existed, why not alien, duh! The second thing he did was to hit himself on the back of his head for his stupidity: if the ship was crashing, it meant people would or were hurt! As he did this quick thinking, the starship had the time to crash. A powerful shockwave travel through the ground, shaking it and making the fogecoon fall on his knees and raise a large cloud of dust and dirty. Ynk had to close his eyes shut and use his tail to cover them, just in case something a little bigger than just dirt came toward him. After everything calmed down and the cloud of dust had mostly fell back on the ground, the now dirty colored fogecoon stood up and shook himself before running toward the crash point as fast as he could and as fast as the remaining dirty in the air allowed him. It took him a moment to reach the large thing, even at his top speed. It had ‘landed’ pretty far away and several trees and other stuff had fallen in the way. Finally, after reaching the steaming and burning vehicle, Ynk could examine it more closely: it had a square-ish nose with a wide neck, which become immediately the wings, the oval ‘belly’ of the ship was rather large, making the ship look like a turtle in each both head and wing could fold in. There were two flaps on the back of ship, one was actually broken in half and the other bended in a way Ynk was sure it shouldn’t be. The engines, both of them, looked a little burned and were smoking a little too much. Did the pilot have some kind of epical space battle where he managed to defeat his opponent but at the cost of his ship? Ynk’s eyes were full of stars of admiration, his mind filled with pew pew fights in space, explosion and other crazy things. Shaking his head, Ynk came back on earth and went closer to the ship and brought his hands to his mouth. “HELLO! IS ANYONE ALIVE?!” he yelled, hoping in a positive answer. He waited a moment, in complete silence, attentive to any answer before repeating his call. This time, it was a loud BANG that answer Ynk, making him jump. “Shit… That thing is gonna blow up!” he cursed before running to what looked like a safe spot and used his power. He slashed his tail twice, making a big cross like hole in the fuselage; after that, he used his shoulder and feet, kicking and slamming to open a hole big enough to crawl in, which he did. ‘Well, I’ll have bruises from that…’ thought Ynk, as he rubbed his shoulder, getting up in the ship. There wasn’t as much smoke as he thought there would be. “HELLO?!” he called for the third time. “H-help…” said a voice, toward the piloting cabin. Careful not to step on any of the cable and tube and other stuff on the floor, Ynk made his way toward the voice’s origin. What he saw left him speechless… scratch that, thoughtless for 20 seconds! Here was the prettiest vixen Ynk ever saw, with a beautiful violet colored fur. She had a jumpsuit the same color of her fur, three rings on her tail and a blue tattoo on her right arm. She had her legs blocked by the pilot seat which was blocked by a heavy metallic tube. “Hang on… I’ll get you out of here.” promised the fogecoon. The vixen just nodded before looking at her legs, “My legs… I can’t move them.” Ynk nodded quickly and squatted, over the tube. He wasn’t the strongest person he knew but if he did this well… Grabbing the tube with all his strength, he pulled in away so it would half lift and half roll over. Groaning and cursing, he finally managed to remove the heavy stuff off the seat before shoving it away. “Here… Can you walk?” he asked, kneeling close to the alien furry. Again, she just nodded and tried to get up. However, he legs gave up on her half way and she would have fallen if Ynk hadn’t been fast enough to catch her. Putting her arm behind his head, he warped his own around her waist and helped her toward the exit, which she passively showed him, with her free arm. They reached the back of the ship, sparkles and smoke along with buzzes accompanying them, and she pointed at a panel; Ynk helped her reach it and she tipped quickly. The wall opened backward slowly, acting as a ramp so they could walk out. Ynk brought the vixen to a security distance from the starship before carefully putting her down against a tree. He then knelt beside her. “My name is Ynk. Ynk Lamia… Can you understand what I’m saying?” asked the fogecoon, talking slowly, a hand on his chest. Moaning a little from the pain in her legs, the vixen manipulated the buckle of her belt a little. It made a few beeps before she took a deep breath. “My name is… Lavender. This…” she said with a look at her belt’s buckle, “is a translator. It helps me understand your language.” Ynk nodded, that technology was very advanced… and very handy. “What happened? Did you have some kind of fight in space?” asked Ynk, holding back his excitement. Shaking her head, Lavender answered, “No… I just forgot to disconnect the auto repair system before making the adjustments to the ship…” she explained but when she noticed Ynk’s confused look, she sighed and explained, “My starship has an auto repair system integrated; so, if anything should happen to the ship, the system will fix and/or rebuild parts of the ship that were damaged, following the data inside the computer. But when I want or need to make adjustments, I need to disconnect the system so it doesn’t destroy those adjustments. Then I need to configure the system to recognize the adjustments as part of the data to fix the ship and reboot it. But I guess I forgot to do it this time… and this what happened: my ship tried to ix something that was added to make it work better and…” she didn’t finish her sentence, as it was evident what happened. The young hybrid looked back at the starship where the smoke had stopped coming out. “So… your ship is repairing itself right now?” “Mhm… I don’t know how much time it will take though.” “Well… If you want, I’ll keep you company until it’s done.” proposed the fogecoon with a little smile. Smiling back, Lavender nodded at him and relaxed back against the tree. Both stood like this for hours, talking about all and nothing. Lavender explained how flying in space felt, the trill of the light-speed travel, barrel rolls and other impossible figures to do in an atmosphere, the muscled negotiations she had with aggressive species… And so much more that made Ynk dream with his eyes open. As for Ynk, he showed her his power. He traced trail after trail in the air. He drew smiley, and even some weird looking creatures. He also showed her how he could cut down a tree with a slash of his tail; create ink bullets by making dots in the air that flew with incredible speed in another tree, denting him heavily. He also, with some focus, materialized a staff made of this strange, solid ink and made a few kung-fu like moves, making the staff spin and the used it to do a cartwheel. He also tried to create a sword but all he could manage so far was a blade so dull, it was like the staff had been cut in two and glued into a cross form. Still, Lavender was amazed by those strange abilities and moves. It was deep into the night when a robotic voice came out of Lavender’s belt, “REPARATIONS, COMPLETE.” Groaning, a little stiff from being seated for so long, Lavender got up and stretched. She had the time to recover a bit for the crash somehow. Ynk supposed her jumpsuit either had something in it that helped recover or she wasn’t as hurt as he thought. “Come with me.” she said, surprising him. Curious, the young fogecoon followed the alien vixen inside the fully operational starship. It looked so different now! Sure, the mess from the crash was still here: he could see broken boxes, dirt and dust all around the floor but the walls, tubes and wires were all fixed up. ‘That’s really handy.’ thought the young fur. From what he could see, they had entered by the storage part of the ship. A little further, he could see stairs almost vertical and after that, two gridded lockers… and a bunch of weapons on the floor. He decided to not say a thing about it. They got up the stairs, accessing the upper deck, and Ynk was pleased to see her delicious looking butt so close to his muzzle. The upper deck was even messier than the lower one. “I have my room on this deck… I guess my stuff flew around with the crash…” commented Lavender when she saw all her stuff on the floor. But looks like it helped because she immediately found what she was looking for. Bending over, she showed her tight looking butt to Ynk who had to hold back his hands. Standing straight again, she showed him the device, “This is GalaCom 342. It allows the user to communicate with whoever he or she wishes in the galaxy, as long as the correct code number is used.” After she handed him the communicator, the fogecoon observed it attentively. It was a little bigger than the old PSP game disks and twice as thick, metallic grey in color. A blue stone, maybe a sapphire, big as a 50 cents euro piece was embedded in the center. Two small speakers were on the top, each on opposed side. “It’s voice activated, but the hologram can work as keyboard of you want. You just have to active it with your voice.” explained the vixen before she handed him a 9 digit code number, “This is the code to mine, so you can speak to me when you want. Yours is written under the communicator; I have it already.” Indeed, when Ynk flipped the device, he could see a 9 digits number. “Thanks. I’ll try it as soon as I’m home.” he promised, smiling at her. After that, it was time to say good bye. Lavender accompanied him to the exit where they hugged then looked at each other before slowly partying away. But suddenly, Ynk grabbed her arms tighter and pulled her to him, kissing her deeply and passionately. It lasted a few seconds and the alien vixen didn’t have the react that Ynk pulled away. “S-sorry…” he said, blushing under his fur, before running away and waving at her, “S-see you around!” Lavender stood up like that a few more seconds before smiling and blushing. She went back in and a few moments later, the ship was leaving the planet, like a shooting star going up. And Ynk smilled and waved softly at that star before going back home.
