Over the past week, snow had been coming down more and more, covering the earth in its white, cold blanket. She had managed to retrieve and decorate a Christmas tree, one that almost reached the ceiling of her living room, covered in warm, dim lights, tinsel, and bone-shaped ornaments. Despite how dim the lights were, they seemed to twinkle in the dark green of the pine tree. Your large wolf friend had taken it upon herself to light a fire in the fireplace, warmth radiating from the claims as they crackled gently, the snapping sound a mere background to the light snow raining down from the heavens. Marley had taken it upon herself to move her couch just so the two of you could watch the snow fall down from the night sky. After taking a shower, you made your way back to the living room where the wolf resided. She had obtained a fluffy red and white blanket, gently pulling it over her lap as she rested on the couch, a plaid red and blue robe covering the majority of her body, a loose shirt and snowman pajama pants covering the rest. Approaching her you could see her tail shifting behind her, held in place by the couch yet still finding a way to express the wolf’s joy. After just a few more steps towards here, the wolf turned around with a warm smile, closing her eyes and tilting her head. “Oh, hey there sweetie~ Did you have a nice warm shower? Oh, I was just getting the couch ready for you~ I know you like watching the snow fall.” The wolf turned back around, facing the large window as she pulled the blanket bat and rested her hand on the cushion next to her, gently patting it. “Would you like to come and enjoy it with me? It’s more calming than I expected~” Accepting her offer, you drifted over to the spot she had prepared for you, a few pillows cushioning the arm rest with the warm blanket just waiting on her lap, ready to cover your little body. As you sat down, you could feel a hint of the cold from outside the house, the temperature forcing a shiver out of your body before the wolf wrapped an arm around you, gently hugging you to her side. Her warmth immediately beat out the cold from the harsh outside, welcoming you into her fluffy embrace. You could feel her plump, soft hands gently rubbing the skin on your arm as your body squished against hers, your legs feeling the softness of her pajamas as you rubbed against them. With every passing second your world seemed to grow warmer as she tightened her grasp on you, practically hugging you to her side as the snow continued to fall before you. “Getting back home today was a real hassle,” Marley huffed, the words practically spilling from her lips, showing you just how tired your large wolf friend truly was. “I don’t think anyone on the roads could really see where the lanes were, and every time I tried to stop at a stoplight just a bit too fast, I could feel my brakes grinding. Oh, I’m so happy to be home~ Me and the cold really just don’t get along.” With every passing minute you could feel your body growing heavier as the wolf’s words began to slow, her breath growing heavy. As your vision began to darken, you could see her chest rising and falling as the blanket weighed both of you down. The fire began to slowly snap and steam as snowflakes flew down the chimney. The snow began to pile onto the ground, coating the grass and pavement in a thick white blanket. It had only started snowing a bit ago yet the ground was already covered. A large, white blanket spanning your entire world. It was naturally cold, yet the thought brought an odd warmth to your soul. Glancing to your left, your wolf friend was already sound asleep, her snout reaching down to her mane. It was your turn to enter the world of slumber, your eyes closing shut as you drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
