1 a map glows florescent on a screen in the semi darkness, a map of long island. Most of the towns are incorrectly marked There may be a Texas new york but I am completely sure it isn't on the north shore. I feel that I am not alone here, a voice speaks "This is the trajectory that it took, thousands are dead. No one could have expected or prepared for this." 2 (there was a major transition here and i am going to do my best to fill in the blanks i can the one of the following characters was certainly some kind of feline due to the extremely large and pointy ears i am guessing either Linx or Caracal she is in her mid 20's ) It is a cool crisp spring night, the sky is bright, studded with stars, unfamiliar constellations blare forth. Neon billboards flash and twinkle. all is seemingly well It had been a normal day She was going home This is the second day in a row she had failed to find the wiring problem with the holographic interface the cockpit of the U.H.T (ultra heavy transport) VALOR (some kind of Mech or Rover i never got a good look at it all i know is that it's cockpit's roof is glass) 3 (yet another transition How did she end up here, dripping with paint and crying black tears (Note i have no idea who her captor was, what his species, name or motivations were. i am going to refer to him as "Baron von Steel-Guts" I got the sense that he painted her black trying desperately to disguise her. Whoever he was he must have had to had nerves ( and guts lol) of steel to abduct her in such a populated place. Several things bother and confuse me about this entire scenario: 1 she was armed with not only a blaster of some sort but also a search beacon in case of situations like this why were neither used 2 she was not bound or gagged, how come she never fought back 3 there were hundreds if not thousands of people in that square how come no one did anything 4 after pondering 1) and 2) i came to a rather bothering conclusion....is it possible that she went willingly with baron von s-g? If so why? 4 The Barron stuffs her into the aforementioned craft, the entire cockpit is a reinforced glass ellipsis. (The look on her face at this point stayed with me for a while after waking more about that later) (another thing occurs to me as i sit writing this, Baron von Guts probably disabled portions of the craft that our young technician was tinkering with) Suddenly the entire cockpit shatters and explodes in shards (note the map in the beginning was most likely the trajectory of the asteroid that hit the vessel) (during the ensuing chaos i lost sight of the baron he never reappeared. A part of me even wonders if he was a reality in the dream world. Could he be come entity conjured up by our damsel in distress, could she be doing this to herself? If he WAS real where did he go, is he still alive?) She lies face down broken and bleeding on the cold concrete, close to death a black wildcat standing nearby screams bloody murder, she drops her coffee in the ground and she runs over horrified. (She has SOME kind of intimate relation, with or technician they were FRIENDS?LOVERS?GIRLFRIENDS?SISTERS?BUDDIES? i never really found out for sure there was some kind of powerful bond between them " SOMEONE GET A MEDIC" She screams 5 Final Transition Our young heroine/damsel in distress is in a coma and close to death, hooked up to machinery and life support, (At what point does life end and technology begin) The contraption keeping her alive is up on a hexagon shaped dais cables are linked to her wrists neck and ankles there is a large glass dome covering the machine, (it is quite possible that the entire capsule was an oxygen enriched environment) Her significant other (like i said their relationship was very ambiguous) put a hand on the dome and is overcome by overwhelming and crippling grief " God dammit you can't go and die on me......what about dinner next Friday," There is a control panel that looks suspiciously like a sound board there is someone tinkering around on it changing settings turning nobs pushing sliders. She begins to stir inside the capsule and has momentary lapses of consciousness She looks out of the machine at her Sister? ans smiles grimly, blood oozes out of her mouth, it is not a good smile it is the grin of a corpse of a cadaver. "i did the best i could............................." she says to no one in praticular. my alarm went of in reality keeping me from finding out more. (The look on her face when she was in that cockpit was a look of sheer despair and despondency. Her life now hangs in the balance. And the baron is somehow the key, if he is in fact real and not just a product of my and the technician's collective sub(un)conscious)
