________________ The Forgotten Daycare Shivering a small ten year old dragon boy stood outside a large iron gate. The gate long since neglected had thick vines of ivy winding its way up the bars. The young scaley gulped and looked at the dilapidated building hiding behind the old gates. He had first heard of the lost puppy daycare from a friend at school. The legend went, one time long ago there was this daycaree. It was the best day care anywhere. Well one day everybody inside it just vanished and they closed it down. Now it was something kits used to prove themselves were brave to their friends. He thought of just turning around and going home, but he knew if he went back on a double dog dare his friends would never let him hear the end of it. Gulping he pushed the gate open, jumping back a little as the door creaked as the hinges protested. Looking back behind him the dragon slipped inside the gate. Inside a rusty playground greeted the young dragon. Slowly the ten year old worked his way past rusted swings, a tangled up jungle gym, and hopped past large pot holes in the black top. Already he was feeling uneasy, as if he was being watched by some unseen force. Gulping the young dragon made through the school kid’s nightmare of a playground and slipped inside the main building. The only thing on his mind was finding the playroom and getting one of the toys so he could bring it back for the others to see. He crept past the open door with a sign that read Warning Quarantine and found himself in a large room. Looking around he could tell it had to be a classroom of some sorts. Despite the open door, the furnishings had fared rather well. The desks were lined up in rows of six, textbooks still sitting out. Carefully he made his way past the empty desks. The skin on the back of his green neck got goosebumps as he walked past the backpack closet. Inside the cubby holes were backpacks still hanging as if they were just put there this morning. They only hint that they had been there a long time was the thick layer of dust covering over everything. “Hmm I I guess it wouldn’t hurt if took one of these.” The dragon muttered to no one as he reached towards a particular backpack. Even covered by years of dirt and grime the dragon could see the picture of a large green dragon, with a baby skunk riding on it. Sneezing as he shook the dust off it the dragon opened the backpack. Inside written on a label was the backpack’s original owner’s name. “Gustavo??? Thats a silly name. Well sorry Gus its mine now.” The dragon tore the tag off and tipped the bag upside, spilling its contents onto the floor. Out tumbled a lunchbox, some pencils, a couple notebooks, an old pocket watch that ticked with a funny sound, an old video game, and box of markers. “OHHHHHH SHINY!!!!!” The dragon picked up the watch and admired the shiny golden color before trying to open it. The watch refused to open but the dragon smiled anyway. HE had found a treasure to add to his hoard. Into his new backpack it went along with the video game and markers. Just out of curiosity he opened the lunch box to find it empty. Shrugging he put the backpack on and made his way out of the empty classroom. As he headed into the hallway that feeling of being watched started to nag at the dragon again. He poked his head into another room and found it to be a snack room. His green tail swished as his brown belly rumbled. He snuck in and started to look around. Most of the cupboards were empty to he found one that had several cups of chocolate pudding. Squealing in delight he grabbed them and flopped down. “MMMM Yummy Yummy pudding.” He peeled the top off one and purred licked all the pudding out of the cup. The dragon finished off three more pudding cups and stood up. His belly happy he stuffed the rest of the pudding into his new backpack and walked back into the hallway. He paused at one doorway when he thought he had some hear something. But, when nothing came out of the rooms he turned back opened another door. This room was the room he was looking for. The toy room!!!!!! Inside was toys of all kinds. Balls, plush animals, and dolls littered the floor where whoever had been playing with them had dropped them. Lining shelves were things like books, legos, more plush toys, board games, and dress up clothing. Smiling the dragon walked in and worked his way to a large pile of plush animals. He picked up one of a blue and white raccoon thing and shoved it into his backpack. “There that should be proof enough I was here.” He looked out the window and saw the sky was getting pretty dark. Whimpering he looked around for a place to stay glad he had told his daddy he was staying at a friend’s house. He remembered seeing a room full of sleeping mats next to the snack room and hurried there. He shook the dust out of one the mats and set his backpack down next to it. He layed down and shivered as he tried to sleep. ________________ “He took my backpack” “He ate our puddings” “Dats my pwushy.” The dragon woke up to whispers around him and epped as slowly opened an eye. Standing around him was three boys. A little blue skunk about five years old, a black and red fox who looked to be a bit older than the dragon, and a pudgy fox and coyote mix. The dragon whined as the kits looked at him and he looked right through him. “GHOSTS!!!!!!” The dragon to get up to run but tripped over his stolen backpack. The fox frowned as he floated over and grabbed the dragon. The dragon started to cry and whine as the fox touched him. “NO NO NO DON’T MAKE ME A GHOST!!!!” “I think we need to teach this thief a lesson right guys?” The skunk nodded as the foxyote pouted and and nods back to the fox. The orange, blue, and white ghost foxyote frowned as the fox moved the dragon back onto the sleeping mat. “I WANNA SPANK SPANK HIM!!!!!!!” The foxyote whined at the older fox as the dragon sobbed. The fox simply nodded and started to undress the younger male. First off was his shirt, then his shorts, shoes, socks, and finally his undies. “Please please no spankings. IMMA SORRYYYYYY” The fox turned the smaller male upside down till his butt was pointed up into the air. Despite the ghost fox being an ethereal being the dragon was helpless wiggle free as the foxyote smirked as he walked up. He giggled at the larger male’s tush as he rubbed his paws together. “Oh dis is gonna be fun.” He lifted his paw and slapped it hard against the ten year old’s bare rear. The dragon wailed as the little ghost smacked again. Sobbing the dragon laid there help by the bigger fox till his green tush was spanked. His green tush was pink by the time the little foxyote finished. “Dawe dat will teacha yeah fow taking mah plushie.” The fox smiled down at the dragon who was rubbing his tear filled eyes with his paws. The poor fledgling tried to flap his wings but they were pinned down tightly by the ghost. “Thats enough Mika you can go back to bed.” “Buh Buh I donna wanna go back to beds. ITS BOWWWIINNG!!! I wanna pank pank some mowe.” The fox looked down at the little thief’s tanned tush then back at the pouting foxyote. “Mika if you don’t go back to bed and I hear as much as a peep from you tonight your tush will be even more red then this dragon’s.” “Buh Buh Awe man Roska yeah no funs!” The little foxyote ghost faded as he stuck out his tongue. Roska laid the dragon down on the sleeping matt and beeped the sobbing kit’s nose. “Now Now no need to get all sobby. Tell you what, you stay here and be my little baby all night and in the morning we’ll let you. You can even keep the stuff you took.” The skunk pouted a little but sat next to the fox ghost. Roska listened to see if Mika would protest the dragon keeping his plushy but the little chub ghost said nothing or moved from his sleeping out of fear of tanned rear. The fox turned his attention back to the dragon and smiled. “Now please tell me your name.” “Its its Deven mista ghost.” Smiling the ghost looked over to the blue skunk. Gussy smiled back and got up. He walked over to a cabinet and opened a door. Deven whined and tried to wiggle free as the fox tickled his belly. “I I donna want to be a baby.” “We could always make you a ghost like us.” The fox smiled and whispered to the dragon. Deven’s face went pale as he shook his head. The blue skunk returned holding a thick padded diaper, a bottle of powder, and a pacifier. The fox took the pacifier and shoved it into Deven’s mouth. Quietly the dragon sucked on the paci plotting his escape as the fox powderder his bits. His face blushed heavily as Roska’s paw rubbed the powder into his skin. Surprisingly the ghost’s paw was warm and gentle, not cold and clammy like he thought it would be. Next he heard the crinkles of the diaper as it was unfolded and slid under his powdered tush. The fox pulled the front over Deven’s bits and taped nice and tight. Finally finished the fox helped the new baby dragon up. Deven blushed more as his tail poked out of the tail slot. Every time he took a step a loud crinkle filled the air of the quiet nap room. Roska chuckled at the cuteness as he took the baby’s paw and led him to one side of the room. Sitting there was a small stool facing the corner. “Now baby Deven you are gonna sit here in time out, for coming in here and waking us all up, taking our stuff, and eating our snacks.” “Time out?” The fox nodded as Deven sat down and meeped loudly. His tush was still hurt from Mika’s spanking. Roska watched the baby dragon for a little bit before yawning. It had seemed forever since he was last awake but the pull of sleep called to him. He laid down on the mat next to Gussy and closed one eye. “Maybe a little nap” He yawned closing his other eye. Softly he snored as the blue skunky snuggled up to him. The skunk was less tired than the older ghost so he kept watch on the dragon. Deven whined and shifted on the stool. Carefully he looked back and grinned seeing both were sleeping. Quietly he got up, only a slight rustle of his diaper made any sound as he crept towards his pile of clothes. Just as he started to pull the tabs off the front of his embarrassing diaper, the skunk opened his eyes. “WOSKA HES BEING NAUGHTY” The fox yawned and opened his eyes. He frowned as he catches the dragon with the diaper down at his ankles. Deven meeped and froze as both ghosts stared at him. He quickly tried to get dressed and run away but before he even could get to his undies, the fox had a hold of him. “I warned you to be a good baby but you didn’t listen. So now I’m going to have to punish you again.” He looked at the Gussy ghost and the skunk smiled as he disappeared. Deven sobbed as the fox laid Deven back down. The skunk reappeared holding a bottle of milk as he walked over to Deven and Roska. Deven whined as the picked him up, cradling the dragon as the skunk pushed the rubber nipple of the bottle into his mouth. At first then ten year old tried to spit it out but the skunk held it there firmly. Soon as the cool creamy taste of milk hit his tongue he stopped fighting and relaxed. He softly cooed as he suckled, blushing as he started to enjoy being treated as a baby. Not much longer and the bottle was pulled away. Deven whined and reached for it but stopped in mid grab. Did the world get bigger? He thought to himself as he looked up at the fox. Indeed the fox was a bit larger. Epping he looked down cried out in surprise. He was smaller. About six years old he would guess. “Wha wha happens to mes?” His paws clamped around his muzzle as the cubby speak came out. Roska just smiled and grabbed the discarded diaper. Swiftly the younger dragon as padded back up. Pouting the six year old stumbled to his feet before he was lifted up. “It seems we can’t take our eyes off you little trouble maker.” The fox patted Gussy on the head. The skunk blushed and wagged his bushy tail. Roska set the dragon boy down and took his paw. “Lets go to the playroom, that way we can keep your paws busy” Deven pouted as the thick diaper made it hard to walk. He was led back to the room where he had grabbed the plush foon. Pouting he was lead to the middle of the room. Roska looked around and brought over a large set legos. Despite being upset the dragon gleefully started building. He built cars, a spaceship, and several buildings as the fox watched him. By the time the dragon used up all the legos there was a faint glow of dawn at the window. He looked over to the ghost fox. Roska was busy reading a book so he started to sneak to the door. He made it out and was running down the hallway as fast as his padded butt would allow. “Not so fast baby its not time yet.” Deven skidded to a stop just as he reached the door leading outside. He collapsed panting as the fox picked him up. He was carried back into the play room and plopped on the floor. Roska smiled as he pushed a paci into the dragons muzzle. Deven whimpered as he felt himself shrink and his mind regress even farther. He tried to speak but only babel came out as he found it hard to it upwards. He toppled forward staring nose to nose with a plushy that looked bigger than himself. The shrinking stopped after a few minutes and Roska picked the tyke up. “There we go now thats much better.” Deven suckled on his paci happily as a three year old as the fox ghost carried the little dragon over to a bouncy swing in one corner. He set the kid into the chair and patted his head. “Now sit here till its morning.” Deven giggled and cooed as he nodded. The fox smiled and helped the dragon bounce a little. Roska couldn’t help but chuckle at the little tyke as he set the backpack and his clothes next to the happy three year old. He gave the dragon a pat on the head. “Well its time for me to sleep again. It was nice meeting you and I hope you enjoy the toys and pudding.” He chuckled as he faded away as the faint smell of a messy dragon tickled his nose. Deven bounced there for a bit longer before he started to get lonely. He missed his friend’s the fox, skunky, and foxyote. Just as he was about to start bawling his daddy burst into the room. His daddy stood there confused at the small version of his son. But as Deven reached out to him he grabbed the kit and the back pack his baby was reaching for. The little dragon years later would have no memory of the accident but as he reached ten years old one of his classmates a raccoon told him a story about a dragon who went to an old building and disappeared. The raccoon smiled and said the ghosts took him. Deven shivered and ran home that night to snuggle his daddy. The faint crinkle of his diaper the only sound that could calm him enough to sleep.
