The rest of the day was spent on the tour bus. Ricky feels empty the whole day. He’s been really quiet too and that bothers Stephen. When the drummer declares that they all should watch a movie, Ricky shies away from the three other men to the tiny kitchenette of the bus.

Stephen gives Brandon a look, that the singer ignores, then walks towards the kitchenette. It has been a few moments since Ricky has gone into the kitchenette. Stephen steps through the doorway but that’s it.

Ricky is sitting at the small booth, his head dipped down. His shoulders are shaking and Stephen knows he’s crying. Before he can stop himself, he’s whispering, “Ricky..?”

The guitarist jumps and stares up at Stephen. Brown orbs widen like he’s been caught doing something he shouldn’t be. Before Stephen can say anything else, Ricky is up from the table and out the door. Stephen almost goes after him, but decides against it.

He goes back to the other room where Jared and Brandon are arguing about what movie to watch. Stephen smacks the back of Brandon’s head, earning himself a confused look. “You’re an idiot.”
