Erin was excited to be at the carnival! It felt like it had been years since she had last gone to one, so she was looking forward to experiencing all the rides, games, and food! Erin had arrived early, so there weren't a ton of crowds yet, which meant she wouldn't have to wait around to partake in anything! She enjoyed some funnel cake as she wandered around the carnival. Erin kept her eye out for anything interesting, particularly when she was walking past the rides. She noticed the carnival had a lot of licensed characters on them, ranging from popular video games to cartoons. Erin finished her food and threw her plate and fork away, and she picked the right trash bin to throw it away in, as she threw it right next to a merry-go-round! It wasn't any kind of carousel, though, it was an Eevee-themed one! And one of the Eeveelutions just so happened to be her favorite Pokemon, Sylveon! Erin excitedly circled around the merry-go-round looking for the Sylveon one but her excitement was starting to waver the more she circled it. There was Jolten, Glaceon, all of them with a noticeable omission of a Sylveon itself. Erin frowned, that was what she was looking forward to seeing the most! Riding an actual Sylveon, at least a sculpture of it, sounded awesome, but it looked like the merry-go-round wasn't finished, with an empty space between a Leafeon and Glaceon. "Aw man..." Erin let out a disappointed sigh as she leaned her arms on the fence surrounding the merry-go-round. "Seems like something's the matter." Erin heard a man's voice as he walked up next to her and did the same. "Oh, hello. Yeah, just a bit bummed there's no Sylveon on the merry-go-round. They're my favorite." Erin turned her head to view who was talking to her. It was a fox man with orange and white fur, wearing an open flannel shirt, a black tee shirt, and a pair of jeans. "Well, it's not done yet! I was waiting for someone to come along to finish it. I only have so many materials and it takes a while for people to start coming to the carnival to fill in the missing gaps." "You made this?" Erin perked up. She wasn't expecting to meet someone who helped make carnival rides! She had a lot of questions, but decided to not get too far ahead of herself. "Yup, sure did." the fox nodded, holding out a hand. "Hey, I'm Skyler." "Erin, awesome to meet you!" she smiled and accepted the handshake. "How long did it take?" "Eh, only a few hours. Once you get the base, the rest is much easier. Just got to get people up on the carousel and the rest is as easy as snapping your fingers. Literally!" he chuckled. "No way it only takes that long!" Erin laughed. "You're joking right?" "I don't joke. Ain't got a reason to." Skyler simply said with a chuckle. "I can show you how I do it so fast. Make that Sylveon you wanted out of you." "Out of...me?" Erin tilted her head in confusion. "What's that supposed to mean?" "Exactly what it sounds like!" Skyler answered happily. "I'll be making you into the missing Sylveon seat. All those Eevees on there used to be people like you. That was a snow leopard, that was a donkey, she used to be a skunk!" Skyler pointed to various pieces of the merry-go-round. "I...I think I have to get going." Erin said, starting to slowly back away. Skyler seemed friendly at first, but now it seemed like she should be be getting as far away as possible from the fox. "No you don't!" Skyler looked to Erin, his eyes started to get a blue glow around them. This same glow formed around Erin as she was suddenly frozen in place, unable to move at all, not even a vibration. "Not when you're shift is about to begin! You have work to do! The carnival is about to really get going, so the merry-go-round has to be complete before they do!" Erin felt her body be lifted up and levitated over to the empty space she saw on the merry-go-round. There, she was put back down on the ground, which did feel nice to not be floating in the air, but there were still many other problems going on like being unable to move! "Alright, time to finish the merry-go-round! Next time I'm not coming in this early to get it going, I'm just going to do it when there's already a bunch of people. I just hate waiting! But I love watching people transform, so I guess I still win in the end~!" he laughed and with a snap of his fingers, caused the glow around Erin's body to intensify as it began to alter underneath the light. Erin felt her body fall forward, landing on her hands and feet. This was only for a moment, with her right hand being lifted up slightly in the air while the others stayed on the ground for the most part. The exception would be Erin's feet going up onto their toes while the hand still on the ground went up on the fingers. The structure of Erin's legs altered, shifting into a digitigrade stance to make it impossible to put the heels back down, granted, soon she wouldn't be able to move her legs at all. Erin's head moved upward, tilting slightly while looking outward. Despite her panic, a smile formed across her face with open eyes for a happy expression across her face. With Erin's posture locked in place, the more drastic changes began. The hair at the top of her head rapidly shrank, eventually stopping when it was only a small tuft at the top of her head. Once the size finished shrinking, the brown coloration of her hair turned a bright, bubblegum pink, with that same hair spreading all over her ears. Speaking of, Erin's ears became significantly larger while moving up to the top of her head. The sides of them were mostly straight with the pointed tips, taking on a more triangular appearance overall. The exterior of them had pink fur, while the insides of them were an icy blue color. Below the pink fur on her head, snowball white fur grew instead, covering up the majority of her face. The whites of Erin's eyes turned a light blue color, with the pupils turning white. Erin's face stretched outward, forming into a petite muzzle while her nose became tiny, black, and triangular at the tip of it. On Erin's left ear, a large white and pink bow formed that had two strands hanging from it that were long and thin, primarily white with the tips cascading from pink to dark blue to light blue. The fur continues to grow on Erin's body, with it being primarily white that covered up most of it. The exception would be beyond her ankles and wrists, where instead more pink fur grew out. This left Erin with a full fur coat, any trace of skin buried underneath it. She gained a bit of extra fur at the backside, however. This was in the form of a thin pink tail that was slicked upward. Around Erin's neck, another ribbon formed with long strands even longer than the one on her ear that was about the length of her body. With Erin's species rapidly changing, her figure was doing the same. Erin was practically losing her shoulders, her arms becoming more directly connected to her torso. Erin's thighs in particular became more pronounced while everything else lost their curves. The shapeliness of her legs and slenderness of her arms vanished. Similarly, Erin's bosom flattened into her chest, losing their traits and becoming a more natural curve connecting her neck to her torso as her breasts left her. With that, Erin wasn't a human anymore, but a Sylveon. She wasn't going to be staying as just a Sylveon, however. Erin's fur was starting to flatten against her body, all while it was becoming harder, the inside of her body starting to hollow out. Erin's form was becoming colder as the warm blood vanished, her form now made out of castings that were strong enough to support just about any weight. The new hardness of her body as it transitioned from skin and fur to inanimate material caused the rest of her body to freeze. Erin's expression became locked, no longer a "proper" one but instead painted on her body. The same was true for her mouth. Her ribbons ceased their movements in the breeze, instead firmly connected to her body, crafted in a way so that it would have the appearance of it being blown, but was actually static. Lastly, a golden pole formed from the top of the merry-go-round and went through the back of Erin's neck and down to the floor of it. Erin's body became more connected to the mechanism, now going up and down as the carousel would spin. A small saddle that was apart of Erin's new form materialized over her back along with two sections off the side of her body for feet to rest in and to assist riders with getting on. Now, Erin was a part of the carousel as the Sylveon, giving it every Eeveelution. Mentally, Erin's mind was altering drastically. She didn't necessarily forget about her old human life, but it was more in the deep background of her mind. Instead, she was had a much simpler mind that just wanted to be ridden and used as her form was meant to be used, spin around and go up and down, giving enjoyment to whoever rode her! Erin didn't even see herself as a human or even an animate Sylveon, but just as a inanimate one and was content with that. Her thoughts were small, and she was unaware of anything about her surroundings outside of the sensation of touch when someone would be on her back. Any human worries, anxieties, everything drained from her mind. Erin was just a happy part of the merry-go-round as a Sylveon now! "And done! See? I told you it would only take a few minutes!" Skyler commented, hoping over the fence and walking up to where Erin was the glow left both Erin's body and Skyler's eyes. "Came out pretty nice, sometimes even I impress myself!" Skyler chuckled, running his hand down the side of Erin's body, giving it a few gentle slaps. "Thank you for your service. Thanks to you, the merry-go-round can be used! No more waiting around for the construction to be complete. The carnival should pay me, but I'm a generous guy! Making something fun out of the kindness of my heart." "Oh! Almost forgot!" Skyler said, pressing down at the back of Erin's neck where a button formed underneath the fox's finger, a speaker forming inside of Erin's mouth. Skyler pressed the button, causing the speaker to say "Sylveon!" in a happy tone, though it was slightly garbled since the speaker quality wasn't the best. For Erin, her mind was filled with glee when the button was pressed as she got to say her name! It was simply, but that's all Erin needed now! To cry out "Sylveon" and provide entertainment! "Not a great speaker, but no one's going to care." Skyler waved his hand, grabbing onto the pole that was attached to Erin and jumped up on the new Sylveon. "Of course we're going to have to test ride you to make sure it's all working! I haven't ridden a merry-go-round in ages, I deserve a reward for going through the effort to make it!" Skyler started the machine up, lifting up off the ground as it began to spin, Erin started to move up and down with the spinning. Every so often, Skyler pressed the button as Erin let out another "Sylveon!" Every rotation was just as joyous as the last one for Erin, especially when she got to say her name! It was a simple pleasure, but was the only thing Erin's simplified mind needed now! She was being used as intended, and it felt great! Eventually, the ride came to a halt as Skyler tossed his legs off of and jumped off of Erin. "Yup, I did good making you! Nice and comfortable!" the fox patted himself on the back. "I can tell your going to be a popular one! People love Sylveon after all! I'm more of an Umbreon guy, but Sylveon has always been a close second! This version of me anyway, I'm sure others feel different." Skyler laughed. "I better be off. I could go for some cotton candy and that sheep looks like they'll be a tasty one! Have fun as a carousel! It's very permanent I assure you!" Skyler gave one last pat on Erin's side before leaving the merry-go-round. And so, that was the fate of Erin. She didn't mind, largely because she barely had a mind at all! All she wanted was her button to be pressed and to be ridden and used. Erin didn't have much else going on in her head, but that didn't mean she didn't love it! The sensations of being used as intended always filled her mind with joy, making the whole experience worth it. As the carnival went on, Erin got to enjoy her role more and more as lines started to form to ride the Eevee merry-go-round, shouting out "Sylveon!" every time her button was pressed as happily as the first time. The speaker never got better, and if anything, only got worst the more it was used and would eventually not even be able to be distinguished. None of the carnival workers knew where the merry-go-round came from, especially one that was so detailed! Not to mention, none of them knew about a Pokemon merry-go-round existing, and definitely none of the workers paid for one! Regardless, it was incredibly popular, so the carnival kept it around. Even after the carnival ended, the merry-go-round went on the road with it, and kept more pristine than the rest of them. Despite Erin starting to chip a bit as its age went on, it kept getting new coats of paint to make sure it looked as new as the day Erin transformed. There wasn't anything they could do about the speaker getting worse, it was just something that was going to happen with time! And Erin had a lot of time now, fully inanimate and not needing to do anything anymore! Just enjoy being used and entertaining riders! And that was Erin's life now. She was a Sylveon a part of an Eeveelution merry-go-round, and the Sylveon loved it! It was a simple life, and with the light needs, every day was just as enjoyable as the last! With how popular the ride was, there was hardly a day Erin was never used!
