At a warehouse in the middle of an industrial estate outside of the town, a short plump man, with very little hair and wearing ill fitting clothes was walking around a room full of cages checking what was inside each. He stopped by a cage with a Calumon cowering inside. The man gave the Calumon an evil grin. "You are going to make me a lot of money for sure." The man turned away from the cage when he heard the door to the room open. Through the door came a 3 foot tall purple reptile Digimon with a light green belly with a dark green skull on it. the Digimon had green claws and multiple exposed teeth. The Digimon wore a white pelt with purple stripes. The most striking feature of this Digimon was a purple horn on their head. "We are back boss." The Digimon said as it entered the room. Following behind the first Digimon tall werewolf like Digimon, they had to duck down to fit through the door way. The Digimon had indigo fur and hair, white fur on their chin, neck, chest and feet and red claws on their hands and feet. The werewolf Digimon wore a black jacket and shorts, straps around their torso under the jacket and round their thighs. On top of their head was a pair of goggles and they wore on each arm gauntlets with a blades on them, it carried another weapon on its back a combination of swords and scissors. "Did you get the Hackmon?" The human asked. "Of course we did." The werewolf Digimon replied, their voice gruff. The werewolf Digimon held up a semi-conscious and restrained Hackmon, the poor dragon Digimon looked worse for wear. The Hackmon was a small dragon Digimon, with white armour like skin covering its body, they had blue claws, gold eyes, a horn sticking protruding from there snout, they also had a pair of pointed ears. The Hackmon wore a red cloak with a hood, the hood had goggles embedded in it. "What did you do to it, you know I can't sell damaged merchandise." The man growled. The reptile Digimon looked worried while the werewolf Digimon just signed. "It was like it when we got it, straps, muzzle and all. Those Commandramon must have made a right mess of him, just like me and Psychemon did to there station, even let some of their prisoners out too." The werewolf Digimon replied sounding rather smug at the end of his sentence. "It better have been the commandramon because if I find out it was you Shutmon then you know what will happen." The man sternly and coldly replied. Even though the Shutmon towered over the man, their eyes widened and they became rather worried. "Go put it in an empty cage, I will deal with it later and when you two are done come to my office." The man said as he walked off. The Shutmon handed the Hackmon off to the psychemon. "You heard him." The Digimon replied tapping their fellow Digimon to get moving. The Psychemon took the Hackmon from the Shutmon, then struggled to carry the Hackmon over to an wall of cage been that they were both about the same size. The Psychemon struggled to an empty cage beside a cage holding a Pteromon and a Monodramon. The Psychemon managed to force the Hackmon in to the cage before closing the door, the electronic lock locked with a bang and a red light lit up on the locks panel. The Psychemon then looked back to the Shutmon and gave a thumbs up to him. The shutmon grunted and then walked off, heading in the direction of the man had walked. The psychemon headed off too, leaving the cages unattended. Once both Digimon were out of site the Pteromon and Monodramon approached the bars that separated the cages. The Pteromon was a green bird Digimon about 3 foot tall. They have arm-like wings with three red claws, a furry white mane, yellow beak, purple eyes, egg-white circle on its torso, a long tail with red feathers on the tip. They had yellow legs with black claws on its feet. It was wearing an egg-white mask with a red horn and red markings. The monodramon was a dragon Digimon with mauve skin. They had small bat like wings attached to there arms. Running down there chest on were two red markings. On there horn, shoulders and arms they had gold markings, they had gold eyes. On the enf of there feet and hands they hand metal looking claws. "What did they do to you?" The Pteromon asked concerned. "Move your head closer to me so I can get that muzzle off you." The monodramon said. The Hackmon weakly moved its head in the direction of the sound. Once close the Monodramon reached for the muzzles straps. The bars were to close for the monodramons to fit his hand through but he could fit his claws and was able with a little effort brake the straps of the muzzle. The hackmon shock their head weakly to get the muzzle off. "That's better." His voice quiet. "So what happened?" The Pteromon asked. "Pteromon give him time." The Monodramon replied. "I was attacked by Commandramons after exiting the digital world." Huckmon stated. "Why would you want to leave the digital world and come here, humans are such nasty creatures. I mean look at our situation." Pteromon said. "It was not by choice I was sent a lot of us were to find anyone who could help us out, the digital world is in danger." Hackmon stated. "But how would the commandramon know you would be coming through?" Monodramon asked. "I wish I knew and I wish I could warn my fellow Digimon." Hackmon replied, he tugged weakly at the restraints holding him. "Easy now you are in no position to be doing that." Monodramon said. Hackmon growled out of frustration, he had been given a mission and now he was not going to be able to fulfil it. He closed his eyes, cursing himself under his breath for failing. Meanwhile the Shutmon walked in to the bosses office followed by Psychemon. Sat at a large desk was there human boss and on a porch next to the desk was a Demidevimon. The Demidevimon was a bat Digimon with a round body covered in black and grey fur, four wings, two large and two small, a pair of legs with two toes ending in red claws. They looked like the wore a mask over there face, a pair of yellow eyes looking through. He gave the Digimon a sly smile as they approached. "You two did a great job getting that Hackmon and am I sure the person who gave us the job is going to happy too, however there is one small matter." The man said. "What is it sir?" The psychemon asked. "All those other Digimon are now on the lose and I would like you to go and catch as many as you can." The man explained. "Wait you want us to go and catch those Digimon that we let escape?" The Shutmon questioned. "I do, we were being paid to attack the Police station, release the Digimon and destroy there detector and now that the job is complete, we can benefit from a load of Digimon running around that can't return home and are going to be hunted anyway". He explained. The Shutmon smiled. "I would love to go out and hunt down those Digimon." He replied. "Just make sure that they come here in one piece, understood." The man growled. "Understood." The Shutmon said lowering his head. He then turned to the Psychemon. "Come on lets go." The Shutmon and Psychemon left the office, Psychemon closed to door behind him. The boss turned to the Demidevimon. "Go keep an eye on them will you, I know have much of a liability that Shutmon can be." The man said. "Yes boss." The Demidevimon said before flapping his wings and flying through a open window in the office and in to the night. Elsewhere in the town Renamon was trying to find somewhere to hide. She was staying high, running across roofs and jumping between building to building, she would stop occasionally to see if she was being followed or see if there was any were they could hide. Renamon continued on until she saw a large abandoned building standing on the corner of a street. The building use to be a cinema, it had been boarded up decades ago after being closed down. Most of the windows had been broken a few boards torn down so vandals could gain access and a large amount of graphite covered to walls. Reanmon made her way to the buildings roof and once the coast was clear she jumped down to the street and headed inside. The inside was worse than the outside. There was broken glass over the floor, destroyed furniture, graphite coving the walls and the smell of damp was prevalent. It would do for tonight, she could rest and then head out tomorrow night and get as far from humans as possible. Renamon moved deeper inside to find a suitable and hopefully less messy room to spend her time in. She moved through the lobby to a staircase which lead up. She headed up the stairs to the next floor which appeared to be the same as all the ground floor. she explored this one finding most of the rooms the same, broken windows, graphite and vandalism. "These humans have to destroy and ruin everything." She thought to herself. She headed back to the staircase and up to the top floor. she was met by a door which was locked and from the look of things people had tried to brake it down. She tried the door but it would not open so she tried the next the best thing. "Palm strike" She called out then she struck the door by the lock. It took a few strikes before the lock broke and the door could be opened. She pushed the door open and walked through. This floor was clean, no broken glass, no graphite, no destroyed furniture. She close the door behind her before heading to one of the other doors and opening it. The first room was a store room still full of posters, cardboard stand adverts and all sorts of other things. The smell of mold and damp was strong so Renamon quickly closed the door. She moved on to another room and this one was mostly empty. just a couple of chairs wrapped in plastic. She entered the room heading to the chairs and with her claws she ripped of the dust covered plastic. Under the plastic the chairs looked clean, they also seemed to be the fold up chairs used in the cinema. The only issue with them was that due to the arm rests and the fact they folded she would not be able to lie down on them. Renamon decided to look around to see if there was anywhere else she could sleep for tonight, if not the chairs would have to do. She existed the room and checked out the other rooms. Most were filled with items of furniture, either set up like a office or bumped in what must have been a store room. After she had finished investigating the rest of the floor she returned to the room with the chairs in. She removed more of the plastic before taking a seat. It wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world but it would do. She rubbed her left shoulder. "That Dorumon could have held back." She mumbled. Although she did not remember the fight she certainly felt the aftermaths. She sat thinking about her interaction with the Dorumon and the human. Every other human she had met had treated her like garbage but that human had been different, like he cared for Digimon. As for the Dorumon he also seemed to be decent, she had not met many X-antibody Digimon but all of them she had met they had been jerks. 'Hmmm maybe what I have been told about X-antibody Digimon is wrong but I should probably interact with them more.' she thought to herself. 'though his got that human so maybe not.' She though some more, maybe it would be better to have some connection with a Digimon that knows there way around the human world just so she could learn how to avoid these nasty creatures while she waited to get home. Renamon closed her eyes, she better get some rest after the day she had had.
