Mercury: ‘Ah, so it’s my turn for a backstory?’
Me: ‘Yup, Pampaku’s got some love and attention and wanted to do his ex-best friends.’
Mercury: ‘Ugh, Critterface, very well this should be a fun story.’
Me: ‘I’ll do my best and thanks for not threatening me.’
Mercury: ‘We’ll see.’
Me: ‘Plus I’m sure your fans would want to know you better’
Mercury: ‘yea, that is true’


The Destined Lugia Egg:
Many ages ago, there lived a Lugia village where many Lugias lived and was said that every several years, A Lugia would be born and be destined to become an icon and legend. Within the Small Village was freshly laid Lugia eggs and among the only different pokemon in the village was a Gothitelle Fortune-Teller who would look into the futures of every Lugia egg and find the one destined for greatness.
Out of all 10 Lugia eggs only one egg showed its difference as this egg had a peculiar egg design. As the Gothitelle grabbed this odd looking egg and peered into its future, seeing a strong mighty Lugia who aid some royal family and destined to become a hero of his own kind. The parents of the 10 eggs were unsure about the promised egg, but the Gothitelle told them if they want this young one to be destined and create a bright future they should give the egg over to the Legendary bird trio to help begin his training as a sea guardian, but at the same time, she saw a bad future for several Lugias and that if they want their own kind to thrive to release their egg to the Kanto Birds.
 The fortune teller Gothitelle was even said that this Lugia egg was even more stronger than the average Lugia which would make it perfect for guardian training, the parents protested, but Gothitelle said that if the Lugias would someday have a bright future, to give up the egg, the parents thought it it over and decided to agree.

After meeting with the Bird Trio, the parents decided it would be a better future if they gave the egg to them, which they did, they promised the parents a baby picture when it hatches which they agreed too, they asked what the newborns name would be and they agreed on the name Mercury Quicksilver. With that the birds took the egg and flew off just before the village was raided.

The Last of the Lugias

After many days passed, the egg hatched into a Baby Lugia, even bigger than the average sized newborn. Articuno took a baby picture and flew off to the village, only to find the Village was razed and the Lugias gone missing. A small pirate crew attacked the Articuno, but froze all of them demanding what happened to the Lugias and the eggs. The pirate crew told the ice bird that most of the Lugias were captured and several eggs were taken off to The Dark Kingdom.
Artucuno saw the Krookodile skull insignia on their arms and figured they were part of the notorious pirate King Kroko.
After selling the pirates out to some Crown guards, Articuno returned with the grim news, fearing for the worst they decided to safeguard the last surviving Lugia.
The birds were on top of Mercury making sure to keep him away from foes who were hunting for any surviving Lugias, they still felt bad since they don't know what to say to him, so they decided he should never know. So they told him to never go near the Crown Turtle borders at the risk of accidentally finding the village and having a mental breakdown.

The Beginning of Guardian Training:

When Mercury became a teenager they started his training to become the next Guardian of the Sea. They began by honing him in resistance combat, so the birds hired numerous types of pokemon that were strong against Water Psychics by hiring strong ghosts, rocks, electric, dark and ice types to help Mercury build some powerful resistance to those types. They trained and attacked Mercury till the point of fainting, the following the training would continue until he'd be able to shake off a Thunder or Dark Pulse without even flinching. Which came out well and Mercury now had very high tolerance and durability to his weaknesses.
Next in his training was enhancing his psychic abilities. The birds had Mercury meditate constantly to build up his mind along with studying various books on Psychics. The birds than began his mental training by convincing him to read their thoughts, which he masters successfully even being able to read minds from far away. What makes Mercury even more unique is that his Psychic powers can actually do lots of damage to dark types, so they had Mercury hone his psychic powers which made him master Psychic and mind reader, even being able to to levitate enemies with a flick of his wing.
After a few days of Resistance amd psychic training they moved onto water, he picked up quickly even mastering the signature move of Mos water types, Hydro Pump, which had enough force to pierce a hole through a mountain. He even mastered extrasensory which makes him difficult to see and hit. The bird trio were happy that Mercury completed his training, but they had to start being strict since he has to undergo one more trial which would take a while to prep so they let Mercury go to fend for himself since he had the durability and strength to survive on his own.

Encountering Pampaku:
A young Adult Lugia who went by the name Mercury Quicksilver, was almost finished with his Guardian Training, so the Bird Trio decided to let him go out and see the world for a few years while they prepare the final trial. While Mercury was traveling through sea or air, he found a dazed amd confused Diapercritter who went introduced himself as Pampaku, the only thing the diaper golem remembered.
Mercury wondered what happened to the giant and asked if he needed help, Pampaku was about to open up when a Pokemon almost attacked Mercury, Pampaku blocked it and immediately turned the poke into a diaper. Mercury amazed, asked how he did it to which Pampaku said it naturally came to him. Pampaku decided to give the diaper to Mercury as a gift for being nice and discovered he actually liked wearing diapers. So, the two had a small camp out and started to bond than traveled together. Pampaku turned many foes into diapers and both of them wore them and were having a blast.  One night Mercury decided to sleep in Pampaku’s body to avoid the cold.
The following morning when Mercury woke up, he soon discovered he had diaper breathe, much to Pampaku’s surprise. Mercury asked Pampaku to teach him how to use it, Pampaku never being a teacher decided to train him in the art of Diaper Tfs.

Learning the Diaper Arts:

Pampaku started training Mercury’s training session, so they began by walking into a forest to practice on some bug and grass types after wandering into Beedrill territory. Pampaku showed off his breathe and turned all the Beedrills into diapers at once and asked Mercury to give it a try. Mercury gave it a chance, only for it to have no effect, So Pampaku asked Mercury to try beating up the Beedrill.
Mercury gave the Beedrill a beating and tried again, only to have him become a diapercritter. A very frustrated decided to fold the Beedrill into a diaper and wear him. Pampaku told him to give it one more try, but really injure them, so Mercury took down the Beedrill till it was very weak. When Mercury gave it another go, it worked and the Beedrill became a thick puffy diaper much to the delight of Pampaku and Mercury. Merc decided to train and hone his breathe attack till he can one shot any pokemon. 

Helping Pampaku with His Fears:
During one of their camp outs, Mercury couldn’t help but notice tossing and turning in his sleep and was getting worried. Sometime during the night Pampaku woke up from a sudden nightmare, Mercury asked what was wrong and Pampaku mentioned an odd statue that had a chain wrapped around his neck, which turned out to be a recurring nightmare.
Mercury shocked that Pampaku actually had a fear decided to help him conquer it by finding this statue itself and destroying it, which Pampaku agreed to if he ever wants a peaceful sleep again. After traveling to the world of Naruto, they soon found themselves on the moon where the statue was, still and lifeless.
Mercury saw Pampaku tremble at the sight of it, but encouraged him to use his own chain attack against it while he went back to earth for more info.
Mercury asked all over the Land of Fire for anything, so he had to ask Naruto himself about it, after filling Mercury in on how to destroy the statue, he thanked Naruto and went back to the moon. Mercury told Pampaku the statue can be destroyed if Kurama the 9 tails was sealed into it first, Pampaku not remembering who that was decided to try it.
Mercury watched the ensue when he saw a hole open up and saw Kurama jump into the hole which led into the statue itself. With Kurama sealed into the statue, it started to crumble and with both of their combined attacks they utterly destroyed the statue. Though they also released Kurama who vowed payback. As the duo celebrated, the statue’s head landed right by them, Pampaku was about to crush it, but Mercury told him to eat it instead. When Pampaku ate the statue’s head, he felt an upset stomach, Mercury asked if he was ok only for Pampaku to open his mouth and reveal all 9 chakra chains.
The following night, Mercury and Pampaku decided to camp out again, but this time he saw Pampaku sleeping peacefully and calmly, knowing Pampaku’s fears are no more he can than move on.

Resuming Guardian Training and Falling Out:
After several years of training, Mercury finally managed to master his Diaper Breathe, not effective as Pampaku’s but Merc happy that he pulled it off. As they were about to celebrate, The Kanto Bird Trio came to find Mercury for his final guardian trial, and were outraged that he was goofing off instead of training, Mercury tried to explain himself, but as Mercury’s guardians, they wanted none of it.
They demanded that Merc return now, Pampaku was about to attack, but Mercury stopped him and decided to go with them, an upset Pampaku tried to talk Mercury out of it, but he decided to attack him instead. Thus, leading to a fight between the two, it lasted several days, but in the end Pampaku won and made it so Mercury would return to normal. With an angry glare at the bird trio, an upset Pampaku left knowing Mercury chose to be a guardian than a friend, while telling Mercury he’s going to regret ditching him.

Several days later on, an emotionless Mercury finished his guardian training and soon became the next guardian of the seas. Much to the delight of the Bird trio now that the seas would be safe with a Lugia finally taking control and making sure pirates and invaders wouldn’t pollute the sea, they did feel bad that they made him abandon a friend, but a guardian can’t have distractions.

Abandoning Guardian Duties:
Many days and many months passed since Mercury finished his guardian training, and he started to get bored with it. Mercury hasn’t done much other than guarding sea shrines and stopping enemies that hardly put up a fight, Mercury misses being free to do whatever he wants, when Mercury tried to reason with the Kanto Bird Trio they said that Merc can’t ignore his duties as a guardian and that he has to be the guardian till the end of days or if they find a new Lugia for a guardian, with being the only Lugia left, he really didn’t have a choice.
Mercury bored up to the point he couldn’t think anymore decided he didn’t want to do this so he decided to abandon his duties. The birds warned him that he wouldn’t make it on himself with no family or friends to look out for him he’d be on his own. Mercury decided to take that chance and fought his former guardians, he ended up turning them into diapers and decided to abandon guardian duties to enjoy his life. The bird diapers told Mercury he’d making the biggest mistake of his life, but he didn’t care, he wanted to live his life.

Taking up Mercenary work:

With no Money, Family, or Home to go too, Mercury decided to become a nomad and travel around the world alone, during a visit to a village, a Butterfree mother asked anyone in a local tavern too help her save her son and his best friend. No one wanted to help, but Mercury went up to her and asked if he could help.
After making their way to a cave, they a saw a Golem and Ampharos holding the two young bug pokemon hostage. They asked the Butterfree for the money, but instead brough a legendary to aid in her cause. Both pokemon were a bit uneasy to see a Lugia so far from the sea, but they were cocky since he still had a weakness to Rock and Electric types. Golem hurled as many rocks attacks as they could while Ampharos used a Thunder attack, but were stunned to see that Mercury just shook them off without even taking a scratch.
Mercury easily took them out with a Hydro Pump and easily took them out. They soon used the bugs kids as shields, but Mercury’s psychic powers levitated the bugs to safety. They decided to charge head on, and Mercury easily defeated every last one of them. Just for fun, with a blast from Mercury’s diaper breathe, he turned both pokemon into diapers and offered the Golem diaper to the Butterfree while he kept the Ampharos diaper.
The Butterfree, glad to see her son safe lowered her head and thanked Mercury and offered to buy him food and a place for the night, which he happily accepted. The Butterfree mother asked Mercury if he would take up mercenary work since there’s a lot of troubled pokemon who could use a legendary for protection and help and told Mercury to think about it.
The following morning, Mercury decided to do it and become a mercenary, mainly as means of killing the boredom and of course getting money to live off of. The butterfree mother and her son gave Mercury a small sum of money to aid him and with that Mercury left, already writing up contracts for 3 payment options, than saw a gambling house and decided to start advertising himself.

Saving a Future Super Fan:
After a few Short weeks, Mercury became one of the most highly hirable Mercenaries than any other pokemon and had quite a reputation. Soon a pair of Typhlosions came into the tavern looking for him and they wanted to hire him. Luckily, they caught him just as he was finishing a game of cards. They offered to pay Mercury a lot if he could locate and bring their son home.
After they signed the paperwork for Mercenary work, Mercury immediately leapt into action and told the duo to have the payment ready for when he returns, which they promised he would. They were familiar with Mercury’s policies, but it didn’t matter as long as their son was safe.
With Mercury’s pychic powers, he managed to find their son, a small Quilava being bullied by an Ursaring and Beartic. Mercury finding this despicable went straight to fighting them. He told the Quilava to hide while he handled the weak bear pokemon. Both bears used their strongest attacks against such as an Ice Beam and Hyper Beam, but even with that, Mercury just shook the effects and gave both bear pokemon a beating they wouldn’t forget. To make a point to them he turned both pokemon into diapers and laughed at both of them.
The Quilava shyly looked up at the giant bird and was amazed at his strength, too cheer the Quilave up, he gave both bear pokemon to the Quilava and offered to give him a ride home, the Quilava soon climbed on his back and both flew to his house.
The Typhlosion family happy to have their son safe thanked Mercury and they gave him all the money they had, as Mercury was about to leave, the Quilava gave Mercury a giant hug and thanks for saving him. Mercury soon felt bad, gave them their money back, and told them this one was on the house. They still wanted to give him something for his efforts. So they gave him a diaper bag so that he could carry items and supplies, along with some extra diapers. The mother even put a space orb in the bag so that it had no limitations. Merc decided to keep the bag as payment, patted the Quilava on the head asking him to get stronger someday. With that Mercury left, while the Quilava watched his new hero fly into the sky.

Mercury’s New Best Friend Kimo:
During one of Mercury’s training sessions, he started to feel a little bit lonely without someone to travel with, he decided to do one of his training flights to clear his mind, while flying, he spotted two dark type pokemon carrying a what Mercury thought was a strange looking Poochyena. With his Mind Reader, he heard that they were going to punish the poor pup for not agreeing to help them pull off a heist. Which disgusted him even more, forcing a pup to do some horrible dirty deeds. With anger and rage, he went straight after them and with a loud roar he spooked the Nickit and Honchkrow bullies.
Both Dark types decided to fight and go after him, While the Honchkrow took care of Mercury, the Nickit would take care of the strange pup. Unfortunately, the Honchkrow didn’t last long as the bird was shocked his dark moves didn’t work on the Lugia before being turned into a diaper. The Nickit seeing he was at a disadvantage decided to grab the mysterious pup and escape. Little did the Nickit knew, the strange pup played possum and bit him, thus leading him to end up a diapercritter. As the dark fox attempted to attack the pup, he was stopped by Mercury’s psychic powers, An uneasy Nickit saw a pissed off Lugia and ended up being flattened and folded by Mercury’s psychic powers, Mercury than blasted the fox with his diaper breathe and ended up the same way.
The strange pup introduced himself as Kimo and thanked Mercury for saving him. Mercury gave the small pooch some head pats before putting his captors into his diaper bag, unknown to Mercury a contract fell out. Kimo read it and decided his best chance at survival was to enlist the Lugia for bodyguard work, Kimo signed the contract with his paw print signature and offered it to Mercury just before he flew off. While Mercury read the contract, Kimo decided to morph into a diaper for Mercury and tapped himself around Mercury’s waist.
Mercury saw how happy Kimo was and Mercury decided he could use a new buddy and traveling companion, so Mercury decided to guard Kimo while Kimo did the same and looked out for Mercury. Both had a love for turning others into diapers and soon formed a bond and partnership with each other. With Mercury’s powers and Kimo’s thievery skills and brains, they’d would soon prove to be quite a team.

Meeting Royalty:
Kimo, now under Mercury’s protection wandered around the village raiding the village of their pails, but soon encountered a servant of one his friends, The Raboot butler who went by the name Tai told Kimo that the Prince Mona the 3rd snuck out to find the pup, only to be kidnapped by Aggron bandits. The raboot didn’t want to alert or alarm the guards of TurtleReef or Pangorio, and Kimo couldn’t help due to him being exiled from them. Tai was at a loss, but Kimo had an idea, he told the Raboot to go the tavern nearby to find a giant strong friend of his and enlist him for help.
Kimo soon returned to Mercury and knowing this was going to be quite a card fight hid in Mercury’s diaper bag to see it up close. The Raboot saw the legendary drinking some cider with some cards in his hands while wearing a Tropius who ran out of chips. Tai paid an enormous amount of money for a private poker session, which the tender and all the patrons left the tavern leaving only Mercury and Tai while Kimo watched from the bag.
The poker game went on for quite a while, Mercury was impressed that the Raboot lasted this long, and the stories Kimo told Tai were not lies, but the real thing, but eventually Mercury lost, thus ending his poker winning streak. Mercury amazed that he lost asked what the job was, and Tai already had the paperwork filed, it was for Mercenary work to stop some bandits and rescue a VIP. Since Mercury lost, he decided to take the job at a discount with that, Mercury changed out of his Tropius diaper, put Kimo back on and Tai not wanting to ride in Mercury’s diaper, went with his back instead.
After a few days of flying, they soon found the Aggron bandits’ hideout and saw he was already wearing the VIP client. Mercury decided to take on the Aggron while Tai and Kimo took care of the Lairon’s and Aron’s. Tai and Kimo easily took out and tf’d most of the Aron’s and Lairon’s and wanted to go help Mercury, but Kimo stopped him and too just watch the show. Mercury was winning, but the Aggron played dirty and threw dust in his eyes, as he was about to attack Mercury, he accidently triggered a trap Kimo placed that stunned him. Mercury furious that he played gave him a full blast of his Hydro Pump and savagely attacked him. Mercury soon took the VIP diaper off Aggron and gave him too Kimo to prepare a diaper reversal potion, Tai was shocked that Mercury defeated a powerful bandit and heard the stories were true and Mercury turned the Aggron into a diaper a full blast.
The following night, Kimo finished the potion and poured it on the diaper. With the effects reversed, Mercury saw that it was an Alola Meowth wearing a odd robe, Kimo gave the Meowth a hug while Tai bowed down to the Meowth, Tai demanded that Mercury bow his head too, but the Meowth dismissed it and introduced himself as Mona the 3rd prince of TurtleReef, seeing that there was still a Lugia left Mona decided to spend some time with Mercury and Kimo before he returned home.

A Home in the Reef:
Tai wondered when Mona would ready to leave, but Mona, Mercury and Kimo were having fun. Mona enjoyed spending time with Kimo again, and Mona simply adored Mercury’s antics, mostly turning others into diapers and admiring his strength, Mona even decided to play some diaper tricks on Kimo, much to Mercury’s delight. Kimo even didn’t mind the humiliation since it makes Mona and Mercury happy, as Mercury, Kimo, and Tai gathered the diapers of Aggron and his bandit gang, Mona had an idea and Mercury if he had a home, which he didn’t and asked if he wanted to come with him to TurtleReef and meet his parents. Tai objected, but Mona turned him into a diaper to shut him up. Kimo begged Mercury to take him on the which Mercury did, Kimo was soon tapped on Mercury’s waist and Mona wanted to ride in Mercury’s Kimo diaper, which made him smile as they flew off to Pangorio.
At Pangorio, Mercury met Queen Mona the 2nd and King Hawk the rulers of Pangorio. The royal family was delighted to see their son Mona and scolded the diaper he was wearing for letting Mona sneak off. Hawk and Mona the 2nd were also surprised that a Lugia was left and they thanked Mercury for aiding in rescuing their son. Hawk offered Mercury a huge sum of money for his services, and found enjoyment in the diaper he was wearing since it reminded of the thief who hung out with his son.
Mercury bowed his head was about to leave when both cats offered Mercury something. Hawk and both Monas asked Mercury if he was willing to live in TurtleReef as the islands guardian and be the personal bodyguard to their son Mona the 3rd. Mercury didn’t want to be a guardian, but he didn’t want to keep camping out or spending money at various inns and also saw that it looked like both Monas were practically begging.
Mercury decided he would take the offer under some certain conditions. He didn’t want to be tied down to the kingdom and wanted to keep being a Mercenary, which they agreed too, so instead of being a full-time guardian, he’d be a parttime guardian, and even happy to help defend it from pirates and invaders.  He’s happy to keep their son Mona safe should he sneak off the Island kingdom, needs help, or just wants to have some fun when he’s not on the job. All 3 agreed on his terms and they signed the paperwork and Mercury ended up being Mona the 3rds bodyguard and helping to protect TurtleReef should it be attacked. Much to the tears of joy in both Monas and pleasing King Hawk that TurtleReef had a guardian.
King Hawk did ask Mercury whatever happened to the kidnappers which showed them in his diaper bag, Hawk decided to take the bandit diapers for himself and the royal guards, too show his thanks and appreciation for his services, he decided to offer Mercury a gift, the guards presented Mercury with Yellow Blue Robe with the islands insignia on it, showing that Mercury has connections to the royal family. Mercury put it on and admired how well it fit. Hawk and Mona the 2nd already sent a message to TurtleReef to prepare Mercury a room, Mercury requested to have a room next Mona which they happily agreed too. As Mercury, Kimo (as a diaper), and Mona the 3rd went to the palace, they all showed Mercury respect and gratitude while Mona announced that Mercury was a mercenary and that if they needed his help, to find him at local juice bars or gambling houses.
Mona showed Mercury his room, he liked it, and Mona the 3rd was happy to have a Lugia guardian and even more happy to have a bodyguard and playmate whose loves his antics. Mercury and Kimo soon went to bed admiring how the kingdom is and they were happy to have a home, Merc was going to be a guardian again, but this time he was going to enjoy it since now he has freedom to do what he wants, even with Mercury’s ways, he still ended up being an amazing guardian, even if he wasn’t there all the time, he did have respect and a fanbase.
The following morning, someone from TurtleReef already had a job for him, he and Kimo were about to fly when he felt some rustling in his diaper. He opened the waistband to see Mona hiding asking to go with him, Mercury just smiled, closing his waistband and flew off as a way to start off his new life in TurtleReef, with some new friends and a home to finally go to.
Meanwhile at Pangorio, in the Rainbow Palace on top of the Bell Tower. Fenyx watches from an overseer orb drinking tea and saying ‘Good for you Mercury, be a good guardian, but also live your own life.’

The End.
