A portly monkey with blonde fur stood in the middle of a dimly-lit ring in an arena. "Who dares challenge me, the almighty Tetsuya?" Soon after, a spotlight began to shine on a hooded fighter, and the music got louder up as the mysterious challenger walked towards the ring. "Somebody mustered up the courage to come here", mumbled Tetsuya. The challenger set foot into the ring, and as the music swelled to its climax, the hood came off: it was a short fennec fox. "What's your name, shorty?" asked Tetsuya as he kneeled to face his opponent. "I'm Randy Kassner, and I'm getting those twenty thousand bucks!" "You?" Tetsuya raised his eyebrows. "You're going to challenge me for the 20K?" He chuckled. "You could make a rug or something!" "That's what everyone says." Tetsuya's cocky smile faded as he stared at Randy. "No, seriously, man: have you seen how rough I can be with smaller opponents?" "You takin' me fer an idiot?" Randy waltzed around Tetsuya. "Of course I have!" He perched on the edge of the ring. "I can't just not grab those 20K! Not without a fight!" "I've never seen you before!" Tetsuya gestured in Randy's general direction. "For all I know, your experience in the ring could boil down to... bending... paperclips!" He looked around, and saw that the crowd clamored for the fight to begin. He sighed. "Fine, I suppose I could fight you. 20K is still 20K." He hunched and touched Randy's chest. "But just so you know, I'm not holding back for any reason." "I wouldn't have it any other way!" said Randy as he smirked. When the bell rang three times, Randy punched between Tetsuya's pectorals. After seeing that the punched elicited but a flinch from his simian opponent, Randy then scuttled and reached for Tetsuya's tail. However, his plan ground to a halt when he felt something on his shoulder. When Randy turned around, he felt a wave of pure cold down his back as it dawned on him that he was being held high up. He flailed his limbs, but only one punch hit Tetsuya's face. "Going for the tail?" Tetsuya exhaled. "We going for cheap moves already?" He rested his hands on Randy's head and paws. "I figure I could do this, then!" "Do what?" Randy found the answer to his question in the form of Tetsuya's hands beginning to put pressure on his body. Randy mustered up all the strength he could to keep his opponent's hands in place, but then his hands slipped, allowing Tetsuya to crush Randy between his large hands. "Oh, my beautiful face!" yelped Randy as the force of Tetsuya's hands twisted his snout and limbs. After a while, Randy could barely see beyond his opponent's palms and fingers. "There we go!" Tetsuya held up his opponent high on his hand, allowing the crowd to look at the final product: he had turned Randy into a sphere. Randy tried to roll around Tetsuya's hand. One moment later, he could feel that he was indeed moving... but in a direction completely different to what he had in mind, and he wasn't rolling: he was flying towards a wall at a speed he had only begun to conceive. The trajectory he was being hurled at met a sudden end in the form of a wall, which caused him to bounce back into the ring. Upon landing, his body went back to its usual shape. After his daze lifted, Randy picked himself up, hopped around his opponent and used the ring as a slingshot. He clenched his fist, which landed on Tetsuya's belly. Tetsuya flinched and kneeled. "Oooh, that's a good one..." He grabbed Randy and lifted him. "But can you withstand this?" "Hey, you can't just-" Randy's complaint stopped mid-sentence as he was launched into the air. "It's no-holds-barred wrestling!" yelled Tetsuya, trying to be louder than Randy's shouting. "Did you forget?" After what felt like forever to Randy, he felt another chill all over his body as he realized that there was no way of dodging the wall at the speed he was going. He closed his eyes as he prepared to face the inevitable. The impact was such that with the exception of the tail, Randy looked like he had become a sticker. He mumbled something, and then peeled off the wall. He stared at the ceiling as his flat and floppy body slid down the stairs. Tetsuya watched the scene unfold. "No way he's coming back from..." Just as he was uttering that sentence, he watched as Randy's hand sprang from the floor and slithered onto the mat. "Huh?" He couldn't but stare as Randy dragged his flat body back into the ring. "How did you survive that?" "I have no idea, but I'm not giving up now!" panted Randy as he lifted from the floor and regained his balance in his flat form. To avoid flopping to the ground, he took short and calculated steps. Tetsuya's amazement faded, and he walked towards Randy. "Impressive, I must say, but what are you gonna-" The next sound he heard was his face being slapped. He rubbed his cheek. "Not bad at all." Randy clenched his fist again and reached for Tetsuya's face. However, his strategy fell apart as he noticed that his opponent had stepped back. He fell flat on his face. "Good idea, but you gotta work on your timing." Tetsuya stepped on Randy's lower back and pulled him by the head and feet, stretching him out. After lifting his fists up in the air, Tetsuya let go of Randy's body and let it flop to the ground. He then flipped his opponent like a pancake and pinned him to the mat. While lifting Randy's leg, he moved it around a little, noticing how soft and bouncy it was. One, two, three. The bell rang thrice again. Tetsuya won. "Seriously, dude, did you actually expect to win? Surely you must have known about the odds-" "Odds mean nothing to me!", interjected Randy as he smirked. "Why did you challenge me, then?" "I just thought it'd be fun." Randy put a thumb in his mouth and began to reinflate. "Plus, y'know, the money, which is always nice." He made little progress on reinflation. "Hey, d'y'know if this was broadcast?" "It was". Tetsuya observed as Randy kept on trying to puff back to normal. "Lemme grab a pump."
